Sexuality —

Riddle — I think Riddle has absolutely NO clue what his sexuality is— I’m thinking he probably thought it can only BE two people, a man in a woman, in a relationship at a time. When he gets to NRC and anyone mentions sexuality he probably has questions— then during his first year winter break, probably takes those questions to his mother(it does NOT go well), and shuts up about it until post book 4. THEN and ONLY THEN does he go to Trey(and maybe Cater?). So— he’s still figuring this shit out, ok?

Azul — he is, at the very least, poly-bisexual. but mayhaps more? IDK how to headcannon sexuality Hhdushhsshhd.

Jealousy level —

Riddle — I don’t see Riddle getting very jealous! It would require a LOT of physical affection or lack of affection towards him to get him jealous.

Azul — mf is insecure, need I say more. Not as intense as Luna, though.

Luna — so. I feel like in folklore, fairies can be very possessive, no? LUNA EMBODIES THIS. Riddle and Azul hung out without telling her(the problem is she was not informed, not that they’re hanging out!)? Jealous. Equestrian club? Jealous. Floyd being Floyd? Jealous. Looked at someone else? JEALOUS. It’s her biggest problem, actually. She’s trying to work on it. Trying.

Horny Level —

sooo I avoided this because A. I want all my moots(COUGH KOGANE CAUGH) to be able to see this(if I included it, I’d mark the post as sexual content) and B. IDK IF IM COMFORTABLE OUTING MY FANTASIES 😭 if I ever do, the post will be marked correctly !

Clinginess level —

Riddle — mf is repressed. It takes a while for him to get used to it, but once he does? Behind closed doors, of course— he is oh so close. He’s been starved of touch his ENTIRE life. Like I said— takes a long time for him to not get flustered, though.

Azul — he’s probably a bit clingy at times, but Azul can live with simply seeing his partners in class or passing and really hanging out every few days. And being clingy is WAY too much vulnerability.

Luna — so. Luna’s been deprived of everything. Up until post book 1, she didn’t ever even HAVE friends. None. Zero. No parents(her adoptive ones don’t really count, due to their treatment of her), no nothin’. So she is starved, as much(if not more) than Riddle. But the difference in the two is Luna is NOT afraid to cling onto someone’s arm like a cute little accessory. Whether it be in public or private— she yearns so desperately for affection and she can’t bring herself to hide it. Being close feels so good, and it’s the only time she’s ever GOTTEN to feel so safe and happy. Just let her have this, pretty please with a cherry on top?

Tropes —

Riddle and Azul — I think this is self explanatory !

Riddle and Luna — Luna follows her chaotic heart, Riddle follows his lawful brain. Luna’s an idiot, Riddle has straight A’s. Though they do have things in common— they have a lot of opposites! (mutual betterment… NOM NOM NOM)

Azul and Luna — Luna trying to figure out a mixer and destroying the Mostro Lounge kitchen— Luna sitting there trying to multiple six times eight— Luna asking what the fuck a hyperbole is. Azul, every fucking time, sighs, facepalms, and makes a clearing in his schedule during the week for yet another tutoring session.

First to kiss —

HONESTLY. I have no clue. I think it could be any of them.

Azul would perfectly plan them, Luna would do her own in the heat of the moment, and the same is likely for Riddle, though to a more intense degree than Luna.

Prone to hide their feelings —

Riddle is a repressed lil’ guy. Azul’s got his vulnerabilities under lock and key. Luna is used to wearing a mask.

It could go anyway. Luna is the least likely(she wants to be proposed to like in the movies…), but if made to wait long enough, she will get FED THE FUCK UP and propose. I imagine both Riddle and Azul would be very nervous about doing it. Azul from insecurity, and Riddle because, I mean— “who’d want to marry into my family?”

it probably takes a long, long time for any of them to have the balls.

Wants children —

They don’t! Or, well, they think they don’t. A. Luna is infertile, B. Riddle doesn’t want to become his mother, C. Azul’s working on his business!

and then, flash five or so years into the future— Luna volunteers at an orphanage(survivor’s guilt or smthn idk), and falls in love with one of the orphans. So much so she ALMOST just brings the kid home like ‘sooo, don’t get made, but…’

But she doesn’t! She talks it over. And then the trio all go to the orphanage and oh my Sevens we’re taking this kid home right NOW.

Didn’t know they were dating —

Luna’s dream is a combination of a lot of things. Her desire to fit in, for adventure, for love, and for family.

To add onto this, the dreams capabilities are reflected by someone’s capability. So Luna’s scale of her dream is quite large, though there’s only “NPCs” nearby her.

Her dream takes place after Heartslabyul’s, because it’s fitting + Riddle gets to dream hop. Grim is sad the entire time she’s in her dream because HE HAS TO BE ALONE… he probably insists on picking up his henchfairy the entire time.

if anyone wants to read Luna’s dream whenever I write it, now’s the time to stop to avoid spoilers. some things might change though but yeah

ANYWAYS— Luna’s dream starts with the group spawning on the outskirts of a medieval town. As they walk through, they notice the townsfolk clear a way for the group(not out of fear, but respect), some even bowing down when they pass. This comes to a climax when a haughty tailor comes up to the group, particularly to Riddle, and pointing out his clothes are odd, and that he could make clothes more befitting of “his highness”.

everyone is rightfully SHOCKED. for whatever reason, the tailor takes this as a “yes” and attempts to drag off Riddle, before being sharply interrupted. By a woman almost identical to Luna, so much so Sebek(and probably Silver) mistake it for Luna herself.

But the woman is far more mature, missing the trademark birthmarks beneath her eyes, has shorter(shorter as in shorter than Luna’s ridiculously long hair. Still long) hair, and a wizened look in her eyes. also taller and thinner but that’s minor

“Aha, I’m sorry, sir, but his highness was actually on his way to visit the Rose’s Grotto Boutique right now! My deepest apologies, sir.” And with that, the woman drags both Riddle and Grim(by the scruff of his neck, FYI) away.

yes it’s a testament to both Riddle’s and Azul’s last names. if you point it out to Luna post-dream she will not admit it

As the woman drags them back, she apologizes to Riddle for her “harsh” handling, but he seemed confused, and her darling daughter would be so devastated if he looked for another tailor. Then, she scolds Grim for running off, insisting tuna casserole plans are canceled.

as exhibited in Deuce’s dream, they use a magic-technology thing-y with Ortho to listen into the conversation.

also I think it’d be funny if Cater could liveblog to everyone else who’s woken up from their dreams random thought

The woman brings them to a cozy stone building with stained glass windows. Inside is decorated to look almost storybook-like, along with being filled to the brim with plants, butterfly and moon themed decor, and various scratching posts and cat towers(as medieval as those can look lol).

Luna immediately pops into the room at the sound of the door opening(I haven’t decided on her outfit yet but it’s . witch-druid-herbalist-y-core.) which her face immediately lights up, and she comes bouncing into the room with a cheery “your highness”, bird circling her head.

the worst thing is she goes in and plants a kiss on Riddle’s cheek? THE GALL. The same goes for as soon as she spots Grim, picking him up in her arms and cuddling him to her heart.

(Ace is HOWLING at this. Sebek 100% cringes.)

Yada yada, Luna gives Riddle an outfit that’ll let him “blend in” some. but despite that, it’s still princely + Heartslabyul/Queen of Hearts influenced. just with an optional cloak & hood(peak disguising). but it’s a dream do I CAN DO WHAT I WANT SUCK IT.

In this dream, Riddle is a prince(because he is one on Seven). The lore behind his title is the previous Queen was a tyrant and rightfully jailed, with advisors running the kingdom until Riddle is of age.

Grim is her “pet”. Pet in quotations becuase she doesn’t think of him as one, but it’s easier to explain.

The only other people she recognizes is Heartslabyul, with Trey being Riddle’s retainer, Ace being the local village fool(JOKING. he’s a mage/magician adventurer for hire), and Deuce being bandit with a redemption arc. Cater is a well known bard(I don’t have much for him because yeah).

Upon seeing Ortho, she clocks him in as a golem. She assigns everyone “roles”, of sorts. Sebek and Silver are knights.

Bonus roles:

- Azul is a traveling merchant, known for shady deals. He’s also an “undine”, which are basically water elves. but add a special twist because mermaid. also in a romantic relationship with Luna and luna’s dream ver. of Riddle

- Jade and Floyd: minor roles. they both act as Azul’s bodyguards. Also undines.

Bonus BONUS roles(others OCs, alternate AUs):

- Kogane(by @kogane-twst ): in Luna’s dream, Kogane would likely be a paladin of some sort or a fighter, both adventurers.

- Kit (by @writingattemptsxx ): Kit appears as a kitsune trickster! Along with her family, with Fellow also being a kitsune, and Gidel being a lost orphan Fellow took in. dating Luna because yeah

- Ruse (also by @writingattemptsxx ): Ruse also appears as a prince in Luna’s dream. Bug prince.

- Epel (Appleblossom AU): Epel is simply a farmer in her dream. Also kind of a brawler in class terms.

OK END OF BONUS ROLES.

once the group is all in the boutique, Luna scolds Trey for not staying by Riddle’s side(even if told to stay back by the group. L + ratio). This is also where Luna assigns everyone their “roles”.

This comes into play when Luna insists on going on an adventure with their new friends! And coincidentally, at that time, someone runs in with a quest!! A dragon has taken up nest in the willow tree near the well, and the villagers are spooped!!!

Luna rushes out with her party to clear the “quest”(Idia is rambling about RPGs the entire time.) they clear a few monsters, do some fluffy actives, “recruit” Luna’s dream version of Azul(and Kit in that AU).

Eventually, they find a dragon, only to find it’s a young(AKA like 6~ in dragon years) havoc dragon! (Basically this) Havoc dragons are chaotic good dragons, with insect-like wings, known for their lighthearted pranks.

This scene basically goes as Luna tames the dragon because HELL YEAH SHE DOES.

I’m not sure how they wake her up exactly, because it’s REALLY difficult unless you know the solution, which isn’t something most people would try.

Solution: having one of her people ask her to wake up. I’m leaning towards Grim getting upset and maybe crying, asking her to wake up because he feels alone </3. That wakes her up INSTANTLY.

She has a moment similar to all the OB-ers, where she falls into the darkness. In which, she has to fight a past version of herself. Villainess-arc Luna(im shivering in my timbers).

notes:

The reason her explicit dream versions of Riddle and Grim don’t show up is because she’d figure it out who’s the real one instantly, and wake up. Because subconscious yeah.

She’s very openly affectionate in this dream because once the floodgates open she cannot stop. Super lovey-dovey towards Azurido the ENTIRE time. Ace gets sick of it QUICK. Like super lovey-dovey. brings them wildflowers mid-dream.

ALSO. If anyone wants their OCs to be friends with Luna and to show up in this dream HMU and I’ll come up w/ a reason for them to be here anyways
