DESTRUCCIÓN ARQUEOLOGICA
Cristo Cruz

The Wandering Thought
As you enter through the main door, the scent of old books hits your nose. Off to the left, a stone wall can be seen with a fireplace and some comfy looking armchairs. The fireplace is lit and crackling, an orange cat lays across the top lazily swaying its tail. There are several rows of bookshelves going toward the back of the store where a man can be seen behind the counter, his back turned to the door as he works on..something. As you get closer, you realize he's in the middle of restoring an old book. "Sorry, I'll be with you in just a moment. Feel free to browse in the meantime!" He says with a cheerful tone as he continues his work. An owl sits near him and looking at you, almost as if ensuring you're behaving while browsing. There's a doorway into a backroom that you can't quite see into, but the smell of what might just be hot cocoa drifts through..

A bit of info on Azero and Oreza
Azero started off as an alchemists apprentice in his small town of Emberholme. An adventuring party had been passing through town when news hit of a new cult attempting to ascend one of their own to godhood. Azero begged the party to take him with if they were planning on pursuing this cult, feeling his alchemical works could be useful. After some debate, the party agreed and brought him along. The seven of them traveled for nearly two years together, growing closer as friends. Every good thing has an end though, and theirs came when they brought an end to the corruption of their god Amiyo. As the god lay before them, fading away he granted each member of the party a wish. Azero wished for the knowledge on how to create the greatest alchemical elixir imaginable; the Elixir of Immortality! While his creation was a success, the materials were all used up and there wasn’t much of the elixir at all. He took some, sharing some with his comrades before it was all gone. His companions disappeared throughout time until eventually he was the last remaining member of the party. He assumed that this was the gods cruel trick on his wish, for each of the other wishes had turned into cruel jokes as time went on. Azero continued on in his plane of existence, up to the final days. It was at this point that he decided to do two things. First, he created an owl to be his familiar. Second, he summoned a demon to make a deal with so he could escape his realm and travel through others for the rest of time. The demon agreed to help Azero, on the condition that he be allowed to bond with the owl, thus severing his connection and chains to the abyssal realm and allow him to freely travel without the worry of being summoned or pulled back into that pit. Azero agreed, knowing something the demon didn’t; The owl familiar could not travel further than ten miles from Azero before being magically teleported back next to him.
Now with his new companion at his side, the two began to create the runes and spells needed to protect Azero’s small bookshop and to turn it into a planar gate. Once completed, the two began to use the shop to travel around different universe’s, enjoying the sights and in Azero’s case, writing about all the things he did and saw. Never forgetting his roots, he still has a small alchemical workspace in the back of his shop that doubles as his book restoration table..
Azero Firstblood and his familiar, Oreza the Owl.
Azero appears to be in his late twenties, with messy black/purple hair. Often seen in brown vans, black jeans, gray button-up and a black hoodie. He wears blue glasses.
Azero also has an owl of the Ogygoptynx family. His name is Oreza and he can occasionally be caught speaking. This is due to the nature of him being possessed by a demon. Of the two, Oreza is definitely more talkative and much more of an asshole.
Height: 5’2
Weight: 127lbs
Eye Color: Stormy Grey
Things you may notice: On the right side of his right eye, he has a small scar from his eyebrow to his cheek. On his left forearm he has a small tattoo of a fox staring off into the distance.
Nationality: While from another world, on earth he claims to be from a small town in Utah.
Occupation: He is the owner and sole employee of a bookshop known as ``The Wandering Thought.’’
The Wandering Thought exists in a pocket dimension and can open most anywhere in the universes. This shop is the last remaining building from his home plane of existence. Before being a shopkeeper, he traveled his world with a small group of friends doing things to help the towns and cities that they came across. Their greatest feat was defeating their god, Amiyo, who was corrupted by some dark magic.
Personality: While he can be a bit shy at times, he opens up when talking about books or alchemy. If you can get him excited enough about a subject, he’ll talk about it for hours if you let him. With newer people, he tends to put on a cheerful face similar to what a retail employee would do at their job.
If you do get close to him, he’ll definitely open up a bit but even with his closest friends he seems to be reserved; almost as if he’s preparing for some terribly sad event that could happen in ten days, or 100 years.
