This is the new ep of south london rapper and producer ayrtn. It’s been 2 years since he’s dropped his last project ghost and this lives up to expectations. It feels like an album marking the end of the summer and is completely filled with floaty summery production. This ep is short but full of great bars and songs like the song “THE GLO’” which is inspired by a failed relationship and the subsequent low period you find yourself go through. The song sees ayrtn flowing through a synth laden beat which floats along, perfectly relaxing while barring through serious topics. This is ayrtns main achievement on this ep is perfecting a formula of synthy lofi diy beats with a unique flow. The beats are open enough to allow this flow to sit with space to breathe. Ayrtn is an unique rapper and producer and this ep is his style perfected and it is glorious and perfect for the wind down of summer but also for close attention.
