I still remembered that when I first watched this movie, I fell in love with Jack Frost and everyone around me also went crazy about him and how they wish that Jack Frost is real. A 2012 movie by DreamWorks Animation, a story about a boy that awakens with amnesia and were chosen to be the new Guardian, unfortunately, no one can see or hear him because no one believe in him. Throughout the movie, Jack Frost discovered what he passionate about which is also the first lesson of the movie.
Based on the movie, Jack Frost became the most effective member and also defeat the Boogeyman after he discovered more about who he was and understand why he was selected as the member of The Guardians. Sometimes, in order for us to move forward in our life, we need to stop for a moment and give us time to discover what is actually our purpose? What are we passionate about and why are we doing thing that we doing at that moment and it is okey if it took time to discover yourself because when you do, you will be on your way to being more effective in handling things.
Another lesson that can be seen in this movie is overcoming your fears. The storyline of this movie showed how fear can defeat a person when we let our fears conquer our life. For myself, I am still struggling with my own fear or should I say I have anxiety where I always have a very bad gastric and backpain and whenever I have either one of them, it somewhat triggers the other and make me feel like I want to faint which honestly, I am soo sick of it. With all the short of breath, it is hard to control myself but I really hope that I am able to control and trying my best not to let my fear take over my body.
What I also love about this movie is how they showed every team memberās strength in their own unique way combined with a remarkable teamwork. Every human being in this world has their own weakness as well strength and sometimes our strength can also be our weakness or vice versa. Nevertheless, there is always a good reason behind every of our strength and weakness and by just giving it a little bit of support, we will able to excel it like how The Guardian using unifying by contributing their strongest talents to serve the teamās mission.
Last but not least, believe in yourself. Believe is always the strongest weapon at all time, no hesitation. It doesnāt matter of what people might think or their opinion about you, as long as you believe that you can do it, trust me, you can do it. I experienced it myself during my secondary year where my own teacher said that I canāt do it just because I failed the subject before the GCSE OāLevel examination but I donāt let her control my mind and I just believe that I will get a good result and eventually, I passed it with flying colours and proved her wrong. Soo, always believe in yourself! If you say that you can do it, ignore what people say cause you know yourself better and you will achieve what you believe in.
A great guitarist that has influenced so many talents and youngsters to become great like him. He is the lead guitarist from a hard rock band called Avenged Sevenfold from California. To be honest, I am one of the young people that have been influenced by him and made me grab my first guitar back in 2010 and shared so many sessions with my friends during my secondary school as a guitarist. In 2011 Iāve had been invited to a band to become their rhythm guitarist and the next year in 2012 I became a lead guitarist in another band and Ā I have won talent shows on those two years with different band.
Digital portrait wise, this does look new in my feed, isnāt it?
The first thing I love is the monochromic color. I just referred back to my work on Keanu reeves because I wanted to make another just like that, and it became like this. The strong exposure on one side and dark on the other. It is just the picture I referred to is not overexposed as one with Keanu Reeves has.
i have no reason in choosing the brown color as the main, it just has a certain feel while I was applying the colors so i stopped and decided on this one. Same as Keane Reeves, this portrait has no lower eyelid and one thing that I should have done on Keanu is not making the black outline between the lips like this portrait does and it would have been better!
One more thing that I did not sure on deciding is whether make highlight in the eyes or not to. Keanu Reeves has and now here I decided not to. If doing it is making the portrait become lively then not doing it must be making it flat, so I decided not to on this one.
The highlight on his hair now is the same shade with the exposed part of the face and that is enough highlight because the hair is dark that already make strong contrast on the hair.
Mentioning contrast, this portrait has the strongest contrast compared to the other portraits I have done before, do you agree?
In continuation of the last bujo experience, in the starting year of 2018, I decided to try changing my style of making spreads of the month as I have finished A Levels and starting my new journey of adulting. Hence, I was thinking of something more artistic and aesthetic sense of style. Whereas, I tried to focus more on my spreads rather than my flatlays to create more vibrant and possibly create a masterpiece.

I have gotten the love for scrapbooking from my mother and I naturally used my skills for my bullet journal to enhance more of my artistic aspect. The process of making the spreads was very calming to me and I can end up doing my spreads almost all day without noticing. Throughout the process, I was trying so hard not to be perfect with my spread and to just go with the flow.

The difference of the style from last yearās spread was the style and the spreads are more vibrant. This spread has more purpose other than keeping track of the daily to-do list but also the water tracker of the day.

I am not sure if I have mentioned this before but making these spreads possible was the most absolute fun and it allows me to enhance my calligraphy skills. Apart from that, it allows me to use colours that I would rarely use on the daily basis and be outside of my comfort zone when it comes to planning the bullet journal. I hope you love the video and the bullet journal as much as I do because I enjoyed it too much to forget.

This was my first ever production in Ubd. It was very different from the past production I did during Mary Poppins. This were more friendly and student base of production yet it is more or less similar to professional show of a company out there.Ā
I did not expect to perform again after years of missing in action. The feelings, the vibe, the hardworking, the excitement is finally coming back.Ā

Si RanggauĀ is a mildly infuriating childrenās book that somehow made me laugh a little too loud in the quiet hours of nights when everyone was asleep and I struggled with insomnia.Ā
Note: Iām not copy-pasting or pasting the translation of the book. Iām merely rephrasing/retelling the story like a review. If youāre interested in reading the actual book, I suggest you look it up in the a public library (as well as the UBD Library) as the book is no longer being print and have no plans on getting reprinted.
The story starts with a couple who bore no children for years, specifically, the whole 15 years they were married. And one day, the wife was pregnant. It was a milestone for the two until she had this one weird craving; she wanted to eat a kijang bertanduk putih (white horned deer).Ā
Okay, so what about it? Deer horns arenāt white. Thatās the problem but the husband greatly loves his wife and goes hunting in the nearby forest with their dog Si Sampar next morning with a spear in hand.Ā
Deer horns arenāt white. Iām going stress about that a lot. Deers in general are hard to find themselves so the poor husband spent days in the forest hoping to find the strange animal his wife craves.Ā
The days soon became weeks and months and he still have not returned. The wife had to give birth to their son alone without a midwife. She raised him in regret for it was her odd cravings and her husbandās blind love that the son will grow up without a father.Ā
The son grew up and naturally, he asks his mother the question she fears,Ā āWhereās my pa?ā.
Reluctantly, with a waterfall of tears streaming down her face, she told him the tale of what had happened and begged for her son to not look for the father in the jungle. Her heart couldnāt handle another missing loved one.Ā
The son was stubborn. He was determine to find his long lost father and she eventually permit him for the search.Ā
āMy son, if you call the name Si Sampar and a black dog appears, that is your fatherās dog. If the man with the dog carried a spear, that is your father,ā she reminded him so the boy walked and screamed the name Si SamparĀ the whole time.Ā
It was nearly sunset when the dog howled and ran towards the boy. It was indeed a black dog and in the trees he saw a figure. The figure was large, his body was covered in fur from head to toe, his teeth were pointed and his nails looked like it came from a nightmare. In his hand was a spear.Ā
He called upon the man, referring him as father and that he was his son and his mother was waiting for his arrival. But the figure, the father, did not respond. He was deep in thought and spoke,Ā āI cannot return. I cannot assimilate into society anymore. Iāve become feral from feasting on raw meat and blood to the point I donāt feel like I deserve to be called a human anymore. Iāll only cause trouble for you and your mother.ā
āAnd my dog is possessed by a demon,ā he continued. āAnd Iām Si Ranggau now. A monster of the jungle. Call out my name, Si Ranggau then call upon Si Sampar, the dog and my spear Si Julang and I will arrive to your aid. It is the least I could do.ā
The boy went home with a heavy heart. In his mind his fatherās words repeated itself like a broken cassette. His father was no longer human and is now a being people call out for murders.

The part that made me laugh a little too hard was the fact that the dog was possessed by a demon. Itās a little too random and it seemed like an overkill, like the writer wentĀ āYa thought Si Ranggau has it rough? Look at his dog, itās possessed by a demon. Watch the demon dog lick the boyās hand like a good dog.ā

I donāt have it in my collection and Iāve never read it before so I was quite curious of the content since the cover already sparked questions in my head. Itās an enjoyable read but it infuriated me at how darn loyal the husband was to keep searching for this non-existent deer but then again, who was I to blame him? He was a man who longed to be a father and wanted the best for his wife.Ā
Iām sure he thought of returning, you can tell because in many pictures in the book, he was always staring into a distance. I reckon that he was looking at the direction of his home and imagine how things mustāve been while heās gone or imagining how thing will be if he returned now. I believe he was afraid of how his wife would react to see him in his demonic looking state. He is indeed, the unluckiest man.Ā
