Welcome to Sysfreak Official! This blog is run by a DID system, and we post anything and everything relating to our experiences as a system as well as general shitposting for funsies :]

"Then from the black prances a presence... (he's got a cool hat!)"
We're the coiner of the sysfreak tag! We made this tag to offer anti endos a safe space away from endogenic "systems" and the like where they can connect and engage with other trauma survivors without having to sift through people spreading ableist misinformation about the very disorders we suffer from. Sysfreak as a tag is explicitly anti endo and is not to be used by endogenics, willogenics, tulpagenics, or polyminds who equate "subpersonalities" to alters/systemhood.
You can find out more about us as a person and some information on some of our alters here!

What Sysfreak / Multifreak Stands For
"Sysfreak", along with recent alternative "Multifreak", was created as an anti endo tag. The meaning is tied to the blatant fact that endogenic "systems" do not understand what it is like to live with this disorder, as they do not experience any symptoms of CDDs other than "having alters". Systemhood is a unique experience tied to a serious trauma disorder that those without the inherently traumagenic origin would not be able to properly relate to. The term "sysfreak" also aims to reclaim the idea of mentally ill people being called "freaks" as a way of dehumanizing them and bring power to those who have been referred to as "freaks" due to various mental illnesses/disorders and bring them confidence in who they are despite their mental health. No matter what endos claim, they will never know what it's like to face the judgement and discrimination that pwCDDs face every day of our lives. Therefore, they will never match our freak!
Sysfreak encourages endo communities to be entirely separate from system communities, as endos do not understand what we go through. While we personally believe that there are endo systems who just don't remember their trauma/are in denial of it, many others use the concept of alters as a form of roleplaying or as something "fun" that they can obtain on a whim. This disorder is not fun. The dissociation that causes alters to form in the first place is not fun. Your entire existence being one giant trauma response to protect you from the constant harm you grew up with is not fun. You do not belong in a space made to help survivors of various forms of child abuse and trauma obtain safety and stability if your only reason for being a "system" is to "have fun".
"I wanted more than the everything at the end!"
