Rolled on down #hwy101 back into sunny California today through the #humboldtredwoods to experience the #avenueofgiants and all their splendor. Took a fun little pit stop at the #shrinedrivethrutree before crossing the @golden_gate_bridge into @sanfrancisco.city . People keep asking me what the highlight of our trip was. My initial reaction is always Yosemite, because we spent the most time there and well.. Yosemite is amazing. But I think the giant redwood trees are also way up there. Who would've thought that a bit of wood of leaves could be so amazing that you'll drive hundreds of miles out of your way just to get an awe-inspired crick in the neck. But they are a bloody big bit of wood and leaves! We only had enough time for a morning among the redwoods, which we spent in the Humbolt Redwoods State Park on the Avenue of Giants. But in that short time I have many, many photos that I'd like to post...
