What: Bacon Burger Bubble Buns and Cookie Monster Cookies
Thoughts: will do this again! The cookies were delicious all the way through. I do not like bacon, but this was fantastic! Can't wait to try other bubble buns and maybe move on to the strata.

What: Salad, Clam Chowder, Various Pizzas, Fish Tacos, Burger, and of course -Chicken Strips & Tots
Thoughts: Mrs. Jelly has met up with the gals a few times now, and every time the food is delicious, the service is stellar, and everyone leaves happy.
Where: Fishing Rock Eatery, 3245 US101, Depoe Bay, OR 97341
What: Fried Cod sandwich with fries and with waffle fries
Thoughts: Mrs. Jelly met a friend for an early lunch. Food was good, but nothing to go out of the way for. Service was great considering it was just the bartender and a cook. Might try again for supper to see if this makes a difference.
Double D’s Cafe - Gold Beach
Where: Double D’s Cafe, 29441 Ellensburg Ave Ste 5, Gold Beach, OR
What: Chicken strips & tots, burger & tots
Thoughts: solid no-nonsense food that definitely caters to locals. Everyone appeared to know each other, and I suspect Baldie & I were the only ones from out of town. This will be a go-to place for us whenever we return.

Billy Smoothboar’s - Bandon
Where: Billy Smoothboar’s, 3030 Oregon Ave, Bandon, Or. 97411
What: Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings and vanilla italian sodas with cream
Thoughts: It was a trying day. For the first time in 4 years we were traveling again on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day 2018 ended in a horrible car accident so we had been reticent to travel on that day since then. Baldie figured we should give it a shot, though he reconsidered for a moment after a deer bounced off the car & took out the driver’s side mirror. After police were called and appropriate processes were followed we continued onwards to the South Coast. We stopped at an open Bandon grocery store to see if we could pick something up, but then decided to drive a little bit further. Boy are we glad we did! Even with no reservation (and the place was hoppin’!) they got us right in for a wonderful turkey dinner. Definitely saved the day.
Vivian’s - Lincoln City
Where: Vivian’s Restaurant & Bill’s Barbeque, 1115 SE 1st St, Lincoln City, OR
What: On 2 different visits - one with Mrs. Jelly & Baldie for breakfast, and another time with Mrs. Jelly & some friends for lunch. For breakfast: corn beef hash with eggs & potatoes and french toast, sausage, and eggs. For lunch: chicken strips & fries, BLT with coleslaw, and biscuits & gravy with eggs.
Thoughts: Always a solid choice though breakfast is better than lunch. Service was good, and worth going a little bit off the beaten path.
Stimulus Coffee & Bakery - Pacific City
Where: 33105 Cape Kiwanda Dr Pacific City, OR 97135
What: Coffee, quiche, bagel & cream cheese, scone, and beach bun
Thoughts: the quiche left a lot to be desired, but the rest was good. If passing through this part of Pacific City would stop again.
