do you ever think about how maybe betty could have enjoyed like… making art of currently existing birds interacting with the things they evolved from. or working with wood and carving those little ancient horse statues/figurines. or maybe she could have gotten an interest in space and sending out stuff like the golden record!! like we know she wanted to study petroglyphs, so what if she turned to space and wanted to send evidence of her own existence to.. whoever/whatever will see it in an unknown length of time? like how we find art that humans made so so long ago and we learn about who we used to be from it!! what if she wanted to do that!!! but she never got that chance. she never got to find herself. it makes me sad.. i do love her and simon together but he did cause her to irreversibly change the course of her life. i wonder if, on a second try at life, she might do something different. the “i choose you in every timeline” thing that people say.. yes its beautiful! but what if they didnt? and what if it lead to something else thats beautiful and just for themselves? anyway ummm thanks for making your au for betty.. it is wonderful and it makes me smile :]
