Oh I forgot to add one thing to my last ask! How would I make prayer beads for them?? What colors and stuff would go?

I warn you that I’m gonna be more in-depth about Sanguine, because I honor Him, but I’m sure there are Sheo worshipers who can add on to this post.

Also this post may be a little messy, but I’ll try and clean it up before posting LOL

Altars/shrines. The obvious is, of course, cheese for Sheogorath and booze for Sanguine. YMMV on how that works. I’ve heard several Sheo worshipers complain that Sheo is so much more than just cheese and a colorful suit, while others insist that He does actually really like cheese, so it’s a good fall-back. I say try it and see. I personally have a sample bottle of tequila on my Sanguine shrine, as well as a drink mix that looks like blood in a crystal skull vodka bottle, and He seems to like both of them.

My shrine for Sanguine has the aforementioned tequila bottle, a red fabric rose, and a plastic skull, all sitting on a bed of black rocks, red plastic gems, and red glitter gravel. Aside from the tequila, which I found in a cupboard after my roommate moved out, everything came from the dollar store, and He seems rather pleased with it.

Sanguine

Colors: Red (a rich, blood or wine red)

Stones: Garnet, ruby, thulite

Plants: Vanilla bean, roses

Offerings: Alcohol (especially tequila), red or black roses with thorns, orgasms

Devotional acts: Enjoy the company of others, drink, sex, feast (some people say doing anything that you’re passionate about, but personally I find that much too vague and I think it dilutes His sphere too much. But you can always try it and see if it works for you)

Magic: Sex magic, entheogens (especially sativa-dominant marijuana)

Prayer beads: Hm… if I were making a set of prayer beads for Sanguine, I’d use mainly garnet beads, maybe with some smaller clear quartz beads as spacers, as well as skull and rose shaped beads or charms, and probably a ruby charm or pendant as well (but rubies are expensive and I would only add one because I have several from another project)

Sheogorath

Colors: Purple, pink, gold, multicolor, metallic

Stones: Mania: Iron pyrite (fool’s gold), peacock ore (bornite), titanium quartz             Dementia: Smoky quartz

Plants: Peppermint, anything unusual looking/naturally heterochomatic

Offerings: Cheese, wine, sweetrolls, handmade art & poetry

Devotional acts: Food and drink, dancing, make changes in your life

Magic: Entheogens (especially psilocybin or LSD)

Prayer beads: I would absolutely use peacock ore or titanium quartz beads (if you can find round titanium quartz beads, I’d go with those over peacock ore, just because they have a more brilliant color) and iron pyrite beads, with smoky quartz spacers (see note below) and, in a fit of whimsy, a cheese wedge charm (or other whimsical charm that feels right to you)

Re: Sheogorath and smoky quartz. Smoky quartz is a great stone that’s good at lifting fear, depression, suicidal thoughts, and basically all the dark emotions. However, any stone can be turned around and its talents turned into curses, and because of what smoky quartz is good for, and because Sheogorath is not upstandingly moral in a human sense, I would be keep an eye out for depression and fear increasing with a Sheo devotional bracelet that contains smoky quartz. (Which is why I would use smaller and fewer smoky quartz beads than the others -- to represent Dementia without being overwhelmed by it)

Jet Set Radio is a good game!!

Kickass soundtrack, cartoony art style, a whole roster of playable characters with interesting designs (including diversity in races and body types). It’s definitely one of my favorite games from my childhood and I’m glad to hear it’s still picking up fans 20 years later.

The first game is on steam for like 8 roughly bucks [and you can find it here]! The sequel (which is the one I more or less based my art around) isn’t on steam quite yet.

The steam version was censored a bit unfortunately, though not censored in the terms of stuff like. removing curse words, but censored in the terms of needing to remove and replace some of the songs in the soundtrack that were in the original.

But, just so you know, if it’s anything like the Dreamcast version, the game gets stupid fucking hard pretty quickly, takes a patient hand to learn the clunky controls and can take a while to get used to disorienting way the camera snaps.
