Experience the flavors of Australia with this delicious Aussie Burger featuring juicy beef patties, tangy pickled beets, sweet grilled pineapple, and a fried egg. It's a true taste of Down Under!
Ingredients: 4 beef burger patties. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 fried eggs. 4 slices of pineapple, grilled. 4 slices of pickled beets. 4 lettuce leaves. 4 tomato slices. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon ketchup. Salt and pepper to taste. Olive oil for grilling.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Add salt and pepper to the beef patties. Spread olive oil on the hamburger buns and put them on the grill to toast until they are just barely browned. For medium-rare, grill the beef patties for three to four minutes on each side. If you like your burgers more done, cook them longer. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty just before it's done cooking to melt. While the patties are cooking on the grill, fry the eggs in a different pan until they are done the way you like them. Cut up the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and ketchup and put them in a small bowl. This is my sauce. Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together. Start with a lettuce leaf and top it with a beef patty with melted cheese. Then add a slice of grilled pineapple, a slice of pickled beet, a slice of tomato, and finally a fried egg. Add the other half of the toasted bun on top, and if needed, use a toothpick to hold it in place. Serve your Aussie burgers right away and have a great time!
