These juicy beef burgers are flavored with rich Australian lager beer, so you can taste what Australia is like. They're great for your next barbecue because they come with traditional toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup Australian lager beer. 1/2 onion, finely chopped. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1 egg. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles. Ketchup. Mustard.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the Australian lager beer and mix until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Preheat your grill or pan over medium-high heat. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill for a minute or until lightly browned. Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce leaves on the bottom bun, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese. Top with tomato slices and pickles. Add ketchup and mustard to taste. Finish by placing the top bun over the condiments. Serve your Drunken Aussie Beef Burgers hot and enjoy!
