"This is so stupid!"

Roy sighed and looked at her, "That is definitely not how you fix a bow."

"No shit sherlock," Rory snapped, glaring at him. Roy Harper was supposed to be her older brother, but all she saw was a nuisance hanging over her. She didn't need a so called older brother to look out for her.

Overlooking the language that left her mouth, like he would be the one to get on her case about it, Roy sighed and set his on his lap.

"Want me to show you how before Dinah comes down and sees it?"

Rory glanced between Roy and the bow strewn across the floor. What was the worst that was going to happen? Dinah would ground her, but Oliver would talk her into a lesser punishment anyway.  Rory was still learning the ins and outs of this whole vigilante thing, and maybe Roy could teach her a thing or two.

Letting out a sigh, Rory walked over to the bow that was still on the floor with a pout. Picking it up, she sat next to Roy and gave him a look that said "Get on with it already".

Chuckling, Roy grabbed the extra string and began to show the young girl how to restring a bow.

"It goes through like this," he started, unaware of the two adults watching him and Rory quietly with soft smiles on their faces.

“You know, I was worried for a minute those two would hate each other.” Oliver said. 

“I wasn’t,” Dinah answered. “They’re so much alike, I knew she would come around eventually.”

Oliver smiled at Dinah, pulling her close and pressing a kiss to her cheek. “We did good with them so far, right?”
