Ingredients: 1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced. 4 crusty French rolls, split. 8 slices provolone cheese. 1 cup beef broth. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. Spread the French rolls out on a baking sheet so that the open side faces up. Put two slices of provolone cheese on the bottom of each half. Spread the roast beef out evenly on the rolls and top them with cheese. Soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth should all be mixed together in a small saucepan. On medium heat, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Use small bowls to dip the meat in the hot au jus sauce. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the rolls are light brown and the cheese is melted. Take the sandwiches out of the oven and cover each one with the top half of the roll. Give the sandwiches and bowls of au jus sauce to people to dip them in.
