Weight-related stuff - August
I gained 30 lbs with this pregnancy and I’m very happy to say that I’ve now lost those 30 lbs, 5 weeks after having the baby. I’m feeling better, able to wear my old comfy leggings again, able to move more comfortably.
Biggest focus for now is of course Derrick, keeping him healthy and nurturing the breastfeeding relationship we’ve established. Secondary focus though, after that: my health and some weight loss. I wasn’t ever really happy at my pre-pregnancy weight; it’s not a healthy weight for me. I’m in a better place though, mentally, after this pregnancy than I was after my previous two. How? I have no idea. Don’t ask me. But I’m just happy I am. More self work, perhaps.
Let’s see what I can do over these next months. Out of the 200s in the next few months would be pretty exciting.
