š§ Talk about your OCs mental health! Do they have any specific triggers or ways to practice self care? What are some things that are more difficult for them to do because of their mental health?
Vƶroni actually struggles quite a lot with mental health. He still struggles with PTSD from being in the crash when the Pact first flew into Verdent Brink. Or the creeping fear that unwanted invokes like Mallyx or the Voice of Mordremoth will come back to torment his mind if he doesn't keep himself in check.
Vƶroni wears his blindfold like a safety net. It's his way of hiding his own personal shame from the world, and the real reason he went blind. Plus is self conscious about the scars that cover his eyes.
Going to a big celebration with loud music or fireworks freaks him out, he won't admit it to anyone, but the noises terrify him. They're just unwanted reminders of his past.
Meditating is one of his biggest ways to cope with a lot of it. Or usually will go hide away in what he probably assumes is a corner of a room, hoping his anxiety and paranoia with leave him alone in time before someone comes to check up on him.
Audris is a pretty stubborn head and undeniable when it comes to most of his problems. He has a gambling addiction which is probably one of his ways of dealing with his emotions.
Practically anything that will keep him distracted. He pretends to be this rough and tough bad boy, but actually deep down is scared to talk about how he's actually feeling. He was kidnapped by the nightmare court when only a sapling and was taught that kindness is a sign of weakness.
So he has a lot he's still trying to unlearn, since he never agreed with their ways. Audris can get hot headed sometimes when he's frustrated, but usually works himself down, knowing it's wrong to take his anger out on others.
š What would be the perfect gift to buy your OC? What would be the worst gift? Are they themselves any good at gifting things or are they really indecisive? How do they wrap their presents?
Vƶroni isn't really one for gifts. He just never really understood it. He appreciates the gesture so really he doesn't mind not having or having them at all. Usually if he wants to get someone a gift he needs assistance.
Wrapping gifts- i- who ever in general decided to let the blind man wrap gifts. He wrapped a house plant and a fern hounds water dish because he was left alone with a lot of wrapping paper and too many gifts. He didn't even wrap most of the gifts...
Audris loooooves gifts. He's greedy, mostly because he's never received a gift before, so it's exciting for him. Although he's more of the kind of guy who uses his thieving to give others gifts. He enjoys showering people he likes with as many gifts he can think they'd like- even if they were stolen.
He doesn't know how to wrap a gift, usually he'll hide it somewhere obvious for them, like in a piece of clothing or a handbag, etc.
š Relationships? Who are their friends, their family relations, lover(s), foes? What sort of personalities really tick them off and what others do they like? Is there anything thatād ruin a friendship for them?
Relationship~ Vƶroni basically a part of Ashal and Ever's family, they're his best friends.
Personal family he's never met, he doesn't even know if he has any.
Nor does it bug him, he wouldn't trade his chosen family for the world.
The only thing that seems to tick Vƶroni off the most is when Ashal moves stuff around that he's using. So he has to hunt around for the object over and over again.
Although he's grateful when Ever's there to stop her.
Usually he's one to get revenge, so at the end of the day it's all just fun and games. There isn't really anything that would ruin their friendship, they've all been through thick and thin.
Audris doesn't have many relationships with anyone. He's so used to being alone and usually dips the second he knows he's going to open up with someone.
Besides with Inki, he's never really made a connection with anyone until he met them.
He's been so used to being closed off, but with Inki he really made a connection, one he still isn't sure of why, but for once has mutual feelings for them.
The only thing that would probably ruin the relationship is himself in the long run, falling into bad old habits. Although he's working on changing that.
šŗļø Does your OC like going on adventures? Have they ever discovered something really interesting and significant or are they just too busy getting lost? Where is their favourite place theyāve been? Least favourite?
Vƶroni practically loves going on adventures. Nomadic lifestyle is what keeps him going. He's too busy getting lost more likely than finding something interesting. He's the kind of person who's interested in everything, a secret curiosity at heart. Although, Vƶroni's just wondering where Ashal travels to next.
His favorite place he's been would probably be the City of Amnoon. He might not be able to see the gorgeous night sky, but the city has a lot to offer for a hell of a vacation.
His least favorite place would have to be the Maguuma Jungle. He refuses to ever go back there.
Audris enjoys exploring the world. Mostly because it keeps him out of trouble traveling from place to place. He's seen some really interesting places in his book, from bandit camps to elegant halls of royal palaces. Though he isn't allowed in most of those places anymore after robbing the wrong person.
His favorite place would have to be Divinity's Reach. Least favorite place is the Grove.
