Tattoos James Potter Has and Why
A Patch of Lily’s: For his wife which he got the day he planned to propose to her.
The Three Quidditch Hoops: This tattoo became multipurpose when Harry became a Quidditch player. But it’s main meaning was because James loved the sport more than anything and became a star Chaser for the Gryffindor team.
A Snitch: Much like Sirius, he got this for Harry when he became one of the worlds youngest Seekers.
Moony’s Paw: A symbolism for when Moony saw snow for the first time. The wolf wouldn’t stop sticking his nose into it or jumping around.
A Doe: When they were learning Patronus Charms in Defense Against the Dark Arts Lily was one of the first ones to get a real corporal Patronus. What came out of her wand was a silver doe. James purposely didn’t do the charm right so he didn’t embarrass her.
Padfoot’s Ears: Sirius and Padfoot had always been a good listener despite their complaints. Padfoot’s ears stuck up majority of the time like a German Shepard.
Roman Numerals: He has two sets of them. One of them is his mums - Euphemia Potter - birthday and the other is his fathers - Fleamont Potter - birthday.
