Chapter 28 / 44

Maui had reported the merciless storm far beyond the riff and was already back in the air, keeping a lookout for the stricken ship.

Ahtohallan Iduna: "COME MY DARLINGS, HOMEWARD BO-- wait, didn't I have two daughters?" Elsa: "Uhh... yeah?" Ahtohallan Iduna: "No, this whole 'bridge reveal' thing is supposed to happen with both of you, that's the whole point. Go get your sister." Elsa: "Wait, what? But I just had to fight a Water Spirit and cross an ocean to get here!" Ahtohallan Iduna: "Well, then you should've fought a Water Spirit and crossed an ocean with your sister." Elsa: "But...!" Ahtohallan Iduna: "NOW, YOUNG LADY. Don't make me ask you again!" Elsa: "Aww, Mom..." *turns and walks out*

Elsa angrily leaves the room Iduna's voice echoes in the hallway behind her "I can hear you stomping your feet up those stairs! Your father and I taught you better than this!"

The scarf has the symbols of the oldest Northuldra family. Most likely the Fifth Spirit made contact with the magical spirits in that ancient time.

Assuming the Fifth Spirit was a calling held by people down through the ages. That would mean the Northuldra leader King Runeard killed was the Fifth Spirit.

It seems likely as he was the most sensitive to the effects of the dam on the magic. 

That would also indicate that Iduna was the daughter of the Fifth Spirit. When he was murdered she became the Fifth Spirit Elect, the next in line to the calling. 

However, she was caught in the middle of the incident and chose to call for the Wind Spirit to help save the injured Prince Agnarr. Gale sent the two of them to safety in a cart. 

Iduna could no longer go to Ahtohallan.

Now there was no Fifth Spirit and so the magical spirits locked down the Enchanted Forest trapping the Northuldra and the military of Arendelle together.

Nokk quickly covered the distance to Ahtohallan, and Elsa was eager to catch a glimpse of her sister and her friends, as it had been a long time since she had seen them.
