You said nonbinary characters can't romance Angel, but lore-wise what about us demigirls? I don't know where exactly we fall under the enbie umbrella, but I know we do somewhere, but we also fall under the girl umbrella, too, so I don't entirely know what Angel's thoughts would be.
Lore-wise, I think any person whose nonbinary identity doesn't include an identification with manhood would be fine with her, if that makes sense. So demigirls would be chill.
For example, demiboys, some gender fluid people, some bigender people, are probably not her thing.
