Asvith: Roll With It
[ @plaguetrolls ]
You stop in front of the wooden wagon-hive-thing and scratch your head. If youâre honest, youâre a little bewildered -- you donât think you need anything forged or welded or whatever, but here you are at a blacksmithâs shop, looking blank. A donkey lusus nearby raises its head from the grass and gives you a curious look; you shrug helplessly at it.
All you really did was get into a conversation with this little midblood at the farmerâs market. Youâre used to a little bit of adjustment when you talk to people who donât live out in the middle of nowhere like you do, but this girl... talked a lot. And she talked fast. And before you knew it, youâd gone from discussing herbal remedies for orf to agreeing that yes, you do need to meet her friend who runs a travelling smithy and no, youâre not busy right now, and of course she can write down this friendâs name and coordinates for you.
You squint at the paper she gave you and knock on the door to the wagon. This should be the place, though who knows what youâll say when the door opens. What had the midblood said? Something about both of you being from mountain regions, and being into animal husbandry, and so on. Maybe you can at least buy some fencing?
...If this troll ever opens the door, that is. You knock again. âHello?â you call. âIâm looking for Vatrra Asilas?â
HEY THERE FOLKS I adopted a new troll from @plaguetrolls -- whose art you should totally buy if you arenât broke like me, because itâs ADORABLE. She actually designed them a while ago as part of a design trade, but my part isnât done yet >:p
This kiddoâs name is Asvith: they run a tiny, organic farm in a rather spooky area, and are consequentially always putting up with paranormal nonsense.
Their bio is here! And you should ask me some questions for or about them so I can procrastinate my homework work on their voice and character! ;0
âł âł âł
For every ââłâ I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.
ASVITH: I Try Not to chÎnge which fÎrmers mÎrket i go to that often cuz its just eÎsier on me if i know the folks im Selling To, Right? EspeciaLL-LLy when you start on a L-Loom made out of a curtain rod and warp strands L-Longer than you are taLL-LL! So I said, okay, IâLL-LL start smaLL-LLer, and I saw a video of someone making a L-LittL-Le hand L-Loom and tried that myseL-Lf. And then I just kept at it untiL-L I got good! =:-)

The new kid lives out on a relatively secluded farmstead for most of the sweep, and things get⌠weird and liminal out there. A lot. Itâs spooky stuff, but theyâre used to it.

One wordâŚ
1.  âŚthat describes what/how they want to be: organic!
2. âŚthat describes what/how they least want to be: [a] sellout!
5. âŚthat describes their current life situation: busy!
At 13 sweeps, an indigo lady with an air of danger, a devious brain and a manipulative tongue. She's self centered, but a secret romantic. She prefers a stoic facade, but on the inside she's just tearing up with loneliness and anger. Will mostly date pitch. Pale is probably a really bad idea.
IâMâ IS THIS LYRIAN?!
Okay, realistically, Taz might be interested in pitch! She likes smart people, she likes dangerous ladies, she hates highbloods in a way thatâs⌠sometimes caliginous! Taz is bitterly lonely too, but Iâm afraid that her pitch overtures would involve hardcore pushing our indigo lady to indulge in and express her anger, since thatâs what Taz herself would do. And also secretly using her identity to snoop into Empire business and advance some of Tazâs own criminal endeavors. Probably not very healthy for either of them? YEESH.
Widsth would flirt (flushed-ways) for as long as he happened to be in the same room with her! And then he would get the heck out of dodge, because his little-used sense of self-preservation says a hard no to Older Indigo Ladies.Â
Vide does not date highblood ladies, especially when theyâre a lot older than her. Thatâs not to say she wouldnât instinctively attempt to pacify her, or possibly get weirdly passive-aggressive, or both. Videâs a mess. Someone call her auspistice.Â
Asvith is closest in age, but would feel bad for her I think. They might be interested flushed or pale, though? I canât quite settle on their preferences yet.
