Do you think Asterid/Mrs Everdeen might’ve developed a friendship with Annie post-war? It’s mentioned that she started a hospital in District 4, which is Annie’s home district, and they do have a lot in common, and could bond over their shared widowhood and mental health struggles. As much as I dislike Mrs Everdeen for her treatment of Katniss (and I like the thought of Annie being friends with Kat post war which would be complicated by her friendship with Asterid) this is something I’m very curious about.
Asterid doesn’t strike me as a person who really makes friends very easily, whether that’s because of what happened with Maysilee or because she’s just like that, but maybe! Maybe it’s like a fond acquaintanceship. I also don’t like to believe the persistent rumors of Finnick’s death, he’s FINE.
Kidding. Sorta.
