#assertiveness seminar

I am so excited to announce I will be presenting two panels at the last @bronycon, August 1-4 in Baltimore, Maryland! 

Assertiveness Seminar: Plus Ultra! - a hybrid of my traditional motivational Iron Will presentation, with a tie in to My Hero Academia and lessons from All Might on what it takes to find the hero in you and go beyond!

Bronies United Against Bullying: It Gets Better with  @dustykat, @foalpapers, @keepingfriendshipmagic and (virtually) @spikefiremane! This will be an interactive discussion about bullying and stigma that we have faced, and how we are working to overcome it. It will be a safe, supportive space, and the audience is invited to share their stories, if they are comfortable. You’re not alone.

What I want you to think and do after my Assertiveness Seminar:

Be confident in being yourself, because you are worth it. This will help you to more effectively handle everyday situations.

This past weekend I submitted 16 panels for conventions in 2016. It seems like the deadlines are sooner than normal, so I’m glad that I can get them in early. So far I’m planning on going to:

- Ponycon NYC (February 13-15, Brooklyn, NYC) - MAGfest Classic (February 18-21, National Harbor, MD) - FurTheMore (pending) (April 8-10, Tysons Corner, VA) - BABScon (April 22-24, Burlingame, CA) - Anthrocon (June 30-July3) - Bronycon (July 8-10, Baltimore, MD) - Otakon (pending) (August 12-14, Baltimore, MD)

Where else would you like to see me speak? Please let me know before the deadlines sneak up on us :)

For those that didn’t attend (or couldn’t make the early time of my panel), I’m currently rendering the video of the Assertiveness Seminar, and will be uploading it overnight. It should be ready to view tomorrow!

I hope to continue this awesomeness at other cons! Again, I’ll speak about assertiveness and self confidence at any convention - please let me know if you’d like me to try and get to one near you! As of now I’m only confirmed for Super Speedy Cider Con in Knoxville, TN in October. Future cons I’m considering are MAGfest, Katsucon, Ponycon, and BABScon.
