Instead, its pretty obvious we could say that we have a better way to get them into a situation to seek asylum & becoming a citizen, while protecting them from those violences & deaths. Upon helping them, we would gain more information about the situation & better be able to help, if we wanted to get into a war & or sanction situation. We could teach them & treat them well as a long term commitment to showing off our trustworthiness to them, such that they can become an ally later in the future that is able to have a country functioning well enough that if we had such an issue we could go to them & get help as well, or be helped in a war in the future.
