âYouâre going inside whether you like it or not.â
Minghao, your best friend, basically dragging you to this Christmas party
he keeps telling you that you have to leave your house
or youâll spend Christmas alone again
which technically doesnât sound like a bad idea for you
but he insisted helping you find a guy or a girl to spend Christmas with
but his way of helping you
dragging you to this Christmas party with people you barely know
makes you just want to push him straight into the 6 inch of snow
âMinghaooooo. I have other things to dooooâ
you whine as you try to pry yourself from his grip
âOhh, you know. School stuff. â you lied
âWeâre on Christmas break you dumbass.â he chuckled
welp you really have no choice then
âThat wonât work on me. Iâve been with you for years.â

itâs already been like an hour or two since Minghao has left you
you have bumped into some of his friends from time to time
like seeing Soonyoung take the dance floor
Joshua singing Christmas songs in the corner with his guitarÂ
and Seungcheol stressing over a broken bauble
Minghao checks on you every now and then
more like insults you every now and then
âThereâs a guy over there. He looks lonely like you.â he points at someone

and after like a few minutes of whining that you want to go back,
he goes back to his friends and leaves you alone
though being by yourself, drinking hot chocolate
everyone is wearing a coloured ribbon on their wrists
everyone is with someone with the same coloured ribbon as them
they seem to never leave each other
like as if theyâre glued in the hip
Minghao dragged you into one of those parties
but did he take you as his date?
he left you the minute you stepped inside
and he has a ribbon on his wrist
while youâre left with none
heading to where the hot chocolates were to get your 3rd cup
and you awkwardly shuffle through the people to get to the backyard
and just sit in the bare snow
drinking your hot chocolate
and making cute little snowmans beside you
you can hear the loud Christmas songs behind you
you can see the Christmas lights illuminating the white snow
and the smoke of your hot chocolate and icy breathe
staring at the stars left you in a daze
wondering what it would feel like if you had someone
like how the stars have the moon
youâre wondering when youâll find your moon
you hear the sliding door behind you open
and see the most beautiful human being you have ever seen
and you see a guy walking towards you
your eyes met for a second
but since youâre only light source are the streetlights and the moon and the stars
and the lights are coming from behind him
his face is basically a shadow
but you can still see his beautiful features
you avoided staring at him
so you turn your eyes back to the sky
the both of you stayed like that for a few minutes
with only the stars and the moon as company
people would immediately stand up and walk back to the house if theyâre in this situation
that youâre with someone
"SoâŚlooks like were the only ones without dates, huh.â he chuckled, breaking the silence
you take a look at his wrists
even though you didnât see his face clearly
only some of his featuresÂ
he still looks like someone who would be able to get any date in like a second
âI guess so. My friend dragged me here because he wants me to meet people."Â
"Well, youâve met one right now,â he smirked
his smirk made you blushÂ
âI actually met one before you. He was getting hot chocolate but drank it too fast and now he has a burned tongue.âÂ

out of context but he looks beautiful when he laughs
he has beautiful eye crinkles when he smiles
the way he smiles seems so genuine
even though you canât see his face clearly
the light the moon is shining is already enough to see how beautiful he is
this canât be love at first sight
âYouâre looking at me like Iâm a Christmas present youâve been waiting to open.â he winksÂ
âFlirt with me one more time and youâre getting coal from Santa.â you joked
and he laughs beautifully again
letâs just say the flirting didnât stop
but so did the talking and laughs
you found out that he can speak Mandarin
and that he can play the piano
and would like to have a lot of cats
he can say 10 pick up lines in less than a minute
but sure did leave you speechless and flusteredÂ
you tried doing the same to him
but he just hits you with a better one
soon enough the conversation died down a bit
and now youâre both back to just staring at the sky
while sipping on your almost empty cup of hot chocolate
âSoâŚyou wannaâŚhot chocolate and chill?â he mumbled as he takes a sip of his hot chocolate
you almost choked on yours
good thing it wasnât that hot anymore
âIâm sorry what?â you asked, looking at him
âDo you wanna hot chocolate and chill?â he asked, looking at you with a smirk on his face
âYah! Donât ruin hot chocolate for me! And I donât even know your name!â you exclaimed
âWell if you say yes, youâll find out.â he winks
but youâre done with all his flirting that leaves you flustered
and you just wanted to throw 10 snowballs at him
or push him down the 6 inch of snow
so while the two of you continued talking
you were secretly making snowballs
when the conversation ended
âWhere are you going?â he asks looking up at you
âNowhere.â you smile innocently
hiding the snowball behind your back
âSit back down then.âÂ

âWhy?â he looks at you in utter confusion
it took him a minute actually

and just threw the snowball at him
you laugh in satisfaction
he is now covered in snow
especially his brown hair
but he gets what he deserves
you were too busy laughing at him
you didnât even notice him making a snowball until you felt it hit you
âThis is war.â he stated
and so the snowball fight began
it was mostly the two you hiding from each other
and you hitting him almost all the timeÂ
youâre currently inside the small fort youâve made by pushing all the snow to the sides
but he caught you off guard

but he is now on top of you

you threw some snow at his face as a respond
now youâre both in a giggling fit
and just stayed there silent for a few minutes

âWhat? Me being on top of you?â

âI had fun too.â he smiles
youâre now looking at each other
you can see his eyes clearly
itâs like a replica of the night sky
youâre like a few inch away from each other
and he starts leaning in slowly
and your heart is beating so fast
you may not know his name
and he might be killer or something
but if a beautiful human being
especially on Christmas night
so you just close your eyes
waiting to feel a pair of soft lips
