Thank you for the ask! Sorry it took a while for me to answer though! I’ll be going with all my apprentices for this, hope that’s okay!
6. Magical talents.  Is there a specific type of magic that your character excels at?  Any magic they aren’t so great at?  Or do they actually shy away from magic altogether?
So Maeves is more inclined with earth magic compared to the other elements. With that, she’s also able to manipulate metal to some extent. This is probably why the apprentice has a knack for tinkering certain objects in the house, and basically anything she can get her hands on. One time, she’s even made little dolls as her workshop minions, although she can only manage to animate 3 at best.
Like her name suggests, Soleil is inclined to manifest light magic. She still hasn’t explored much of this though but what she, and others around her, can observe is the fact that the marks on her face glows brighter the stronger she exerts herself. Another ability that Soleil has is called “Pathokinesis”, which basically means that she could feel and alter people’s emotions. She used to practice this ability on others a lot, taking negatives and changing them to positive, however a certain encounter has changed her view on overusing this ability.
Haji’s magic is a little tricky because it has something to do with his own dreams manifesting into spirit-like animals in the real world. It’s a little close to “summoning” but instead of real animals or beings from the arcana, he calls out to his dreams, which forms itself into specific animals. No one can really see them clearly since they show up as almost smokey or transparent most of the time, unless they themselves will otherwise.
