Hey I just want to share a cautionary tale. I work for LAFD here in the states and one night I got a call to a really serious emergency. Entire beach house was on fire. We get it taken care of and everything, but when we're talking to the family, it turned out that this dude's wife had been bullied on Tumblr because she was 30+ and a "fandom old." She got a callout about some ship and was trying to burn her hardrive. She regrets it, but it's a sad story. You gotta be nice to people online.

To Amanda and Wooly: If you were trapped somewhere (not saying specifically if you did) what would you do?

Average Tumblr user: gets up at 1 pm, orders takeout, posts fandomslop all day, fights about communism. Me: I wake up at 5 am, do 1 hour of cardio, another hour of strength training. Then I soak my muscles in a hot bath with Naturopathica sweet birch and magnesium flakes, after which I shower, lather in hypoallergenic, moisturizing Dove bars, wash my hair, dry, apply lotion, shave, change into clean, well-pressed clothes, only natural fibers like wool suits, organic cotton dress shirts, and silk ties. Then I tend to my facial skin health (not going to look like a greasy Tumblr keyboard warrior, no thanks). Toner, peptide serum, moisturizing gel, SPF 70 sunscreen. Sometimes an essence. Hair done with a nice smelling pomade. For breakfast it’s not ultra processed food. Never. I choose an organic salad with plenty of vegetables and grains. Unsweetened green tea, two to three cups while reading the newspaper (newspaper only, I don’t scroll my phone during breakfast).

I only just learned who Chappell Roan is but I can’t stand her. Her calling Kamala and Trump equally bad is such an unintelligent, tone deaf, privileged take.
