me, from 5+ years ago: I got you babe

Been sketching up Ashlynn's various outfits today, this is just four out of the ten.

Her work uniform is what she arrives in Narnia wearing, admittedly she had a raincoat with it, but I can't be arsed to draw that. Then her casual everyday dress. Her summer tournament gown. And then the outfit she wears about ship.

Today has been a productive day 😊

It's always fun to try and figure out a character's style and how it would progress throughout the story. For Ashlynn I'm imagining she'd wear darker coloured clothing soon after arriving in Narnia, but they progressively lighten/become more vibrant as she grows more comfortable in the world!

MANIACAL CACKLING

I've got the itch to design outfits for Ashlynn's stay in Narnia, so naturally I had to slap together a moodboard for her!! That basically consists of me scrolling through pinterest to find things I feel would work for various settings and situations.

Primary inspiration is using her face claim, Adelaide Kane, and using her outfits from Reign, to get an idea of what would work for Ashlynn. Admittedly she actually starts out in things more akin to the bottom row, but that won't last very long once she gets used to the dresses!

Anyway, next step is to do some rough sketches, so stay tuned!!
