Okay, before you read the comic, you need context. So, I saw this post a while back about how when people refer to "virgin blood" they're actually talking about blood that's never been used in a ritual, not whether someone is a virgin or not.
And there was a post talking about that post that was saying it would be funny if the knights didn't know this, and thought it meant virgin.
Here's the link to that post.
Anyway, it inspired me to make this comic.
Gwaine: Bu-but, I'm not a virgin! Merlin, tell them! Arthur: How would Merlin know? Gwaine: Clearly thin walls, no other reason, no possible other explanation, none at all.
I do find it funny that literally my last post is something I finished months ago but didn't post until recently, and this post is literally something I finished like 20 minutes ago.
Anyway, sprinkled in some Merwaine for funsies (though, I'm pretty sure no matter what you ship, people all agree they at least hooked up once). I also might have very slightly hinted at some asexual Leon by accident, which works out, since I think that headcanon suits him.
Just for timeline clarity, Arthur is king at this point, the sorceress is just being dismissive.
[Image Description: Comic of Arthur, Merlin and the knights trying to pass through closed gateway.
Arthur, holding sword, talking to Sorceress: How do we pass?
Sorceress: The way to pass is simple, young prince. All the passage requires is the blood of a virgin.
Arthur mutters, "easy enough," then yells: MERLIN!
A few moments later, Merlin (annoyed) is letting blood from his hand drip onto a podium.
Passage stays closed.
Sorceress: This one's blood is insufficient. Elyan, whispering to a shrugging Percival: Didn't realize Merlin got around like that. Sorceress, pointing: How about him?
Gwaine, shocked, pointing at himself.
Gwaine: Sorry to disappoint, but I don't think it will work for me. Sorceress, annoyed: Humor me.
Gwaine, dripping blood from hand onto podium: I told you it wouldn't wo-
Passage door slides open.
Arthur: Great! Let's go. Gwaine, shocked in the background.
Arthur, Percival and Elyan enter the passage way.
Leon, to Gwaine: You know, you don't have to lie to us about sleeping around. It's okay to be a virgin.
Leon enters passage way.
Merlin, shrugging, to Gwaine: I'm just as confused as you are. Arrow pointing between them saying, "have slept together."
