The One Central Park - Designed by @ateliersjeannouvel Photography by @murrayfredericks @simonwoodphotography @ateliersjeannouvel Using two innovative technologies, hydroponics and heliostats, the design immediately distinguishes itself from many other tall buildings. The public park at the heart of the complex climbs the side of the floor-to-ceiling glass towers to form a lush canopy. Using 250 species of Australian flowers and plants, the buds and blooms of the vegetation form a harmonic composition on the façade. Vines and leafy foliage spring out between floors and provide the perfect frame for Sydney’s skyline. The main visual landmark, the beguiling assembly of motorized mirrors, captures sunlight and directs the rays down onto Central Park’s gardens.
