when it was built, the high-rise was only the second in the city. the façade consists of yellow and red bricks, which correspond excitingly with the white balconies. these are also arranged in a zigzag pattern, giving the entire building a filigree structure.

the lettering on the roof is intended as a tribute to the area's past, but also highlights the strengths of the ruhr region and thus makes a statement against nationalist and fascist tendencies in society. they were installed by the artist initiative kitev.

bei erbauung war das hochhaus erst das zweite der stadt. die fassade besteht aus gelben und roten ziegeln, die spannend mit den weißen balkonen korrespondieren. diese sind auch zickzackförmig angebracht, was dem ganzen gebäude eine filigrane struktur gibt.
