Sorry! I completely forgot about this!

I absolutely do create art! In quite a few different forms actually.

I do acrylic painting, book binding, pencil drawings, I recently made a container for my brushes and pens, and I've been teaching myself digital art on and off for a few months now. For less visual art I obviously do poetry, worldbuilding, prose and I use to write short stories - even won a few competitions!

That said, I should be able to claim that I'm an artist. Of course, the impostor syndrome still kicks in every now and then :)

I define art as any artificial creation that makes people feel something. The reason art quality is so subjective is because not everyone looks at a work and can engage with it on that emotional level, if it doesn't ring true for them then it just doesn't. Art can make you go "oh neat!", it can leave you in awe, make you smile, make you cry, make you angry, make you lonely, scare you, inspire you, give you any number of vibes and other feelings.
