I have been their fan for quite some time now. Even though 2 years is not that much, they still managed to impact my life in the most positive way possible.

Earlier this year I was experiencing the most traumatic and harrowing event of my entire life. (I won’t really give into details, I don’t want to make whoever is reading it sad too.) But my family wasn’t really supportive, and wanted me to already get over it (like 2 days after it happened btw). I already felt so terribly alone, and, of course, them saying all of this to me not only didn’t magically heal me, it also made me feel even worse.

But I knew that Sparkbird, the person I respect and admire so much, had been through this situation too and felt the same way as me. It’s weirdly comforting, I felt so much less alone because of them. You can even say that they were the one who helped me to cope the most.

It’s not the only time Sparkbird and their music made me feel better. And I’m certainly not the only person who they helped like that. I hope that someday I’ll be able to inspire and make someone feel less lonely in their situation the way they do.
