through the mossy forest ꕤ*.゚
moss and ferns, some of my favourite things ₊‧ 𖧧
but did you know that the often dead and rotting logs that these wonderful fungi, lichens and plants grow on, are a mini ecosystem on their own? so many animals rely on the organic material, not just insects but mammals too! and that is why if you see a fallen long, trunk or rotting stump, you shouldn't remove it, as the janitors of nature will move in and make it their home!
dragonflies & patches!! 𓆤 ࿔*:・

jammy patch!! 𖦹·.˚
apple cushion 𖧧˚⋆
In an attempt to dwindle my pile of sewing and yarn scraps down, I did the only reasonable thing any other whimsical crafty goblin would do and made a mini apple cushion! It's made with 100% real fruit (scraps of cotton fabric, as you can so clearly tell, which I actually like), and the little seeds are made with cotton embroidery floss using bullion knots!
If you're reading this, please make yourself a mini apple cushion out of scraps!! 𖧧
~ common hawthorn ~
my absolute favourite native tree, it is not only vital in supporting biodiversity, and absolutely beautiful, but the leaves, petals and berries are also edible!
always do your research before foraging and do not pick more than you need or from only one area/plant.
