This year I have a tutorial with a recipe! I’m also going to be writing the full thing out for my Patreon (free to join!) so it’s easier to follow. You can find all my foraging, witchy, cooking, and crafting content below 😃

It's finally finished!
My 1890s "Keystone" vest, entirely handspun yarn from local sheep, natural colours (with the exception of the reddish brown stripe which we dyed with foraged black walnuts), handwoven on my rigid heddle loom and self drafted pattern. The lining is a salvaged polished cotton. I'm beyond pleased with the fit, look, and feel!
Shirt and pants also by me, gloves knit by my wife, shoes from Memery.

Two years ago I watched one video on tablet weaving, and the craft stayed inside my mind since, festering until I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to weave!!
My best friend VERY kindly made my simple loom design come to life, and well... you will now find me beneath my funky orange blanket weaving until my hands are red raw and my back screams in agony.
This is my second go at weaving, and I refuse to be convinced otherwise that weaving is in my blood because how is it going so well? What magic has imbued my fingers to create such consistent work? Whatever it is, I am proud of my new belt I'm making!
I used yarn and colours cotton 4 ply yarn in khaki and ecru, off-white cotton warp thread, and followed the four hole pine pattern on twistedthreads!
