WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: I feel like they’re both competent at wrapping gifts on their own but neither of them is like... the best at it? Aster’s gifts probably look a little neater than Lui’s but I feel like Lui does quirkier things like uses crazy paper and stuff that would make his look sloppier by default. But yeah! No gift wrapping help necessary, that might give away the shape of their presents to each other and Lui like, lives for surprising Aster. Impressing her is like the best feeling in the world to him tbh. 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: Lui! Aster’s just got this calm, relaxed presence about her so I can’t see her being the one ringleading the ‘hype’, even if I’m sure she’s excited too in her own way? And honestly Lui spent so many Christmases wishing his dad wasn’t too busy traveling but like staying home with his mom anyway in case his dad got a chance to show up, so like... Lui spending Christmas with Aster and her family and being surrounded by love instead of just being two people in a little house having Christmas together like it always was before would be a big deal to him and it would never get old for him to feel included and loved like that. MORAL OF THE STORY IS THAT LUI IS GONNA LOVE CELEBRATING A WEIRD COMMERCIALIZED CHRISTMAS WITH A FAMILY WHO OBVIOUSLY DOESN’T WORSHIP GOD AND JESUS BUT WHO JUST YOLOS AND GIVES EACH OTHER PRESENTS ON THAT DAY ANYWAY FOR FUN lol 

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: Lui. The idea of him wanting to kiss Aster and only Aster is still so foreign in his lil fuckboy head but like those heart feels are there and once he realizes he’s going to bend over backwards to show her that she’s the only girl for him. He knows he’s got a reputation and he knows that mistletoe is an easy tool for a fuckboy to abuse, so just having his own personal piece of it that he only uses for his girlfriend is super cute to me. 

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: I feel like Lui would try to be like, the man of the house and want to do all the hard work and let Aster just do the fun/easy parts... but Lui is a hot mess of a human so I’m sure Aster’s holding the ladder for him while he puts up the lights. And that he’d probably let her do it if she even kind of seemed like she wanted to. 

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: Neither! Aster again has a totally calming presence and probably just like... would be able to calm down and reassure even children who HAD been told Santa was fake, and Lui’s gonna become like super dad once he’s had Tallulah for a while (not that he didn’t have the capacity anyway but that’ll put him on extra high good behavior alert I guess) 

WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: Tristan is the worst at wrapping because he doesn’t think wrapping paper is environmentally friendly and he would prefer to use reusable bags for gifts anyway... but also like Odette is the wrapping master. So she’s in here even correcting his usage of tissue paper and bags so that he can impress the recipient of his gift :-p 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: I like... can’t see any of them being real lit about Christmas like that? If Odette’s up early she’s like baking or getting ready for the day instead of interrupting anyone’s sleep and Charlie’s new to the occasion so she wouldn’t wanna overstep and wake people up, and Dawn is probably passed the fuck out cuz he got drunk off eggnog and apple cider or just doing peppermint schnapp shots and saying it’s festive, and Tristan is like... idk the one who was left alone at home with Gaston for extra years while his siblings went to Walt so I feel like his spirit is real stunted. So that leaves Gus! If anybody’s waking anyone up for funsies it’s Gus lol 

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: Dawn would absolutely be the Dupont running around with mistletoe because every good fuckboy should use Christmas as an excuse to kiss as many people as possible. 

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: I feel like Odette and Gus are really the ones who take point on decorations. They don’t trust Dawn not to like... put up a naked Mrs. Claus calendar or like, put dick ornaments on the tree idk what kind of weird frat boy shenans he would pull, and Charlie has her other family to spend time with so if she’s doing Christmas with them it’s just like... an appearance as she’s Christmas hopping and not the entire time so she’s not the decorator, and Tristan’s still stunted af. Although he punts up ornaments once the tree is ready, everybody takes part in that.

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: If anyone’s doing it it’s Drunk Dawn lol, but I don’t think anyone in this fam would be Grinching that hard. 

-Who bails the other out of mall jail for telling kids Santa isn’t real: If anybody’s going to mall jail it’s either Dawn for more frat boy shenans, or Tristan for some kind of weird social justice warrior move like stealing a dog that got forced to dress up as a reindeer or something. Stealing animals is just a Tristan thing now. ANd Gus and Odette come down like parents to get Tristan... idk who saves Dawn lol maybe this is where Charlie gets hazed into the family, by being the one who Dawn has to hit up for bail XD

WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: Neither! They’re both adorable little gumdrops who are probably great at all things Christmassy, gift-wrapping included. Although Astrid might have a bigger supply of wrapping paper that Emilia could come borrow instead :-p 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: I feel like they’re both pretty excited but like... it’s hard to beat Astrid the Energizer Bunny, sorry Emilia! Astrid probably only has like a five minute headstart on Emilia anyway though so it’s not like she’s depriving her of a whole lot of sleep. 

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: ASTRID! Kissing Adam has made her a lil kissing monster now who just wants to kiss everybody so I’m sure there’s going to be mistletoe EVERYWHERE this year.

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: I feel like... this is dangerous for some reason... but also Emilia would probably hold the ladder while Astrid climbed up because honestly, Astrid would climb the ladder to make the pretty decorations even without someone there to keep her safe. 

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: NEITHER ONE OF THEM WOULD EVER, EVER DO SUCH A THING, YIKES! Astrid would literally cry if she heard someone say that SAnta isn’t real, I’m pretty sure she herself still believes like right now as a 19 year old adult T_T If anything, Emilia might prepare her for the reality that Santa isn’t real and that as her first Christmas away from home she’ll actually have to like... get people Santa presents? LOL but they wouldn’t spoil it for a kid. 

-Who bails the other out of mall jail for telling kids Santa isn’t real: Deadass Astrid would try to befriend all the children and a particularly hip one might yell STRANGER DANGER if she tried to give them candy or something naive af, and Emilia would have to get her out.

WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: I am SURE Cayo is a terrible gift wrapper. And Kamille probably like, scolds him and at first she’s a little serious about wishing he would do a better job but then every time she gets a new present from him and sees how great the gift on the inside is she softens up about it a little bit and eventually she finds his terrible wrapping skills kind of endearing :-p 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: CAYO!!! Definitely the one with no chill lol. 

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: Also probably Cayo tbh. Like, Astrid is the one in the Bjorgman family who runs around doing all the Christmassy things so Kamille’s never really needed to take the lead on making sure all traditions are completed probably? And let’s be real Cayo just likes seeing her smile and doing whatever to make her happy and if that means making up excuses to kiss her and remind her he loves her then he’s gonna be carrying mistletoe everywhere lol

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: U M Kamille is such a princess both literally and behaviorally so I have a feeling she’d just like... expect to come home and Cayo to have the tree up already honestly lol. Although maybe they go to Arendelle every year for a family reunion with her siblings and parents and whoever else to all decorate the castle together (Where Kamille still mostly does easy stuff like putting ornaments right at eye level on the tree and stuff lol) and other people put Cayo up on the ladder to do the lights ‘cause he’s tall. 

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: I CERTAINLY HOPE NO ONE!!! But if anyone was going to get Christmas cranky it would be Kamille -- but this is a girl who’s let Astrid believe in Santa since she was born so like, she’s not spoiling anything even if maybe sometimes she’s tempted to :-p 

WHO DOES WHAT IN YOUR OTP (CHRISTMAS EDITION):

-Who wraps presents horribly and has to get help from the other: Bailey, definitely! He never felt any real reason to like... add that into his code or anything because he didn’t think about it, and Eliza’s his go to for all things girly anyway. 

-Who excitedly wakes up their partner on Christmas morning: Honestly Bailey, he can’t open presents until everyone at the Golden Trio family Christmas celebration is awake and he wants to see what new games and stuff he got. 

-Who holds the mistletoe over the both of their heads: Bailey would be holding mistletoe over his own head because he’s a weird lil horndog and Eliza would be the one trying to save the poor girls of Walt from her yucky friend :-p 

-Who sets up the christmas lights and who holds the ladder: Eliza! She seems like she’d be able to boss Bailey around and make him do the grunt work :-p

-Who gets angry at little kids and tells them Santa isn’t real: Neither! Although I feel like they both have tempers, I just can’t see them being around little kids and spilling the secret. Bailey might just... blab it without thinking because he censors himself less, though. 

“Yeah, isn’t she adorable?” Lui asked, bouncing Tallulah on his lap as he sat next to Aster on the picnic blanket they’d spread out at the park. Sure, Tallulah was still too little to really eat anything but bottles, but she was having fun escaping his lap and crawling around, and between he and Aster, he never let her get too far away. He was pretty sure there were more baby toys scattered on the blanket than there was food, anyway; like everything else in his life, Tallulah seemed to have taken over the picnic not-date with Aster, and he kind of didn’t even mind.

Especially not when she was looking at him like that. He knew it probably wasn’t him, it was probably just the adorable little girl that Serenity had brought back to Walt with her after the holidays that had Aster so captivated, but he couldn’t help but with that it was him, just a little bit, that had her looking so... loving? Was that the right word for it? The word scared the shit out of him, but it was kind of true, too. He’d thought he was over the whole love thing forever, but if he was going to change his mind, if he was going to make an exception... it sure as hell would be for Aster Olympus.

“Here, do you want to hold her?” he asked, terrified by his own thoughts. Who even was he anymore? He had been so sure he was reckless fuckboy Lui Kapu for the longest time, but suddenly he was helping parent a baby, he was going to classes and doing well, and he was sitting here imagining what it would be like if he had feelings for Aster and she had them back and maybe, just maybe, they did something about it. It was enough to scare the shit out of him, but it didn’t make his skin crawl like it might have at this same time last year... and he turned his focus back to Tallulah instead of to the girl whose eyes he was starting to think maybe really were on him instead of the baby.

“Who’s a good girl? Let Auntie Aster hold you now, she’s probably a lot snugglier than I am, and if you don’t wiggle too much I’ll sing your favorite lullaby while she has you,” Lui cooed close to the baby’s ear, pressing a kiss to her weird baby-fluff hair before gingerly passing her to Aster, not even realizing that by the time Aster was the one cradling the baby instead, he was the one making the heart eyes instead... and he wasn’t sure which girl his soft, affectionate gaze was reserved for, either.

SEND ME A SHIP:

Who worries about how they will look when they’re older: Neither! Lui’s confident, Aster’s not shallow, and they’re both demigods so they don’t have a ton to worry about in that department :-p

Who makes the mix tapes/cd’s: Lui! Aster strikes me as the type who hasn’t heard like, basically 90% of the songs he considers his life anthems, so he’d quickly want to turn that around and show her stuff he likes. 

Clings to the other during scary movies: Aster? She’s braver than she looks and I don’t think she’d mean to but occasionally she just looks down and it’s like, when did I start clutching onto Lui’s arm like this? 

Gets into the shower with the other randomly: LUI. After a long time, once she’s comfortable, but still, total Lui move. 

Flashes the other when they walk by after taking a shower alone: Another total Lui move, but he’d be respectful of her boundaries and wait til it seemed like she was cool with it :-p 

Initiates hand holding while the other is driving: Aster. It just seems too cute and pure and innocent to be my shithead son :p

Secretly tries to touch the other in naughty places during public/family events: Lui! HE WANTS TO HOOK UP ON MOUNT OLYMPUS JUST ONCE IF THAT’S POSSIBLE OKAY

Asks weird questions in the middle of the night: LUI. Aster thinks it’s cute instead of annoying, though, even if she doesn’t understand why they need to talk about the possibility of a shark and dolphin being best friends at 3 am

Asks “what are you thinking about?”: Lui! He’s not used to someone who’s quiet and composed like Aster, and since he always blurts stuff out, he wants to make sure he’s not like... screwing up and doing the boyfriend thing wrong, since he wants so badly to get it right for her.
