It’s always funny to me when people treat soulmates/soulmate AUs as the height of romance because to me, it takes all the romance out of it. Because sure, the characters can still go on dates or whatever, but what’s the point if it’s been predetermined by the universe that they’ll end up together regardless?
Also, it’s funny to me that when people ship characters (and it’s almost always two) they’ll see them doing something similar and go “soulmatism <3″ when by that standard...literally any characters could be soulmates.
The other day I saw something saying that a person who someone is in love with should get hanahaki and have to figure out who's in love with them, and may I just say, I'm so tired.
A friend talking about their crush: I want to be more than friends.

Once at a sleepover, everyone went around and said who their crushes were. When I said I didn’t like anyone, no one believed me. Everyone tried to reassure me (”Oh, we won’t tell anyone who it is!”, “You can trust us”), so apparently “I have a crush, but I don’t want to tell you” was more believable than “I don’t like anyone at the moment.” :|
