#aroace hiro

Aroaces in general are valid <3 lmk if I get anything wrong/offensive and I’ll fix it!

Of all of them, Hiro and Sayaka were the ones who were the most open about identifying as aroace. Byakuya would rather not discuss it with anyone other than the two of them.

They all roll their eyes at the “you haven’t met the right person” sentiment, which sometimes comes from family. Especially Byakuya’s, since he’s expected to marry and have children.

Nobody outside of his class knows that Byakuya is aroace and Sayaka and Hiro help keep it that way, since that’s what he wants. He’s not ready to be out more publicly yet.

They’ve all had to field some questions about it from their classmates, but mostly it was for their comprehension so they could be respectful. Education them was kinda nice.

i bet hiro has no idea when girls and/or guys are hitting on him

he’s at that awkward teenage stage where dating is somewhat coming into the agenda, and girls his age that come to the cafe openly flirt with him but he just hasn’t got a clue

and everyone thinks that since he’s so intelligent that he just politely turns them down but the truth his he really genuinely just misses the hints

“wanna go out sometime?” “oh, sorry i have assignments to catch up on, thanks for asking though!”

he’s just so oblivious and nobody suspects anything different

he has about 500 female friends and the majority of them started off trying to start a romantic relationship with him that he just didn’t follow up at all and ended up becoming really good friends with them instead

they all grew to love his awkward, dorky, nerdy self. loveable knucklehead

he builds a really intense relationship with karmi because he feels very strongly for her but completely platonically

at first she thinks he’s hitting on her, but then she learns that his behaviour is exhibited with all of his female friends and she just kind of smiles to herself knowingly

since hiros not too good with strangers anyway, it’s interesting to watch him subtly mingle his way out of dates and whatnot whenever he works part time at the cafe

his smarts really underestimate him sometimes

he loves his friends. loves hugs. loves expression how much they mean to him. he’s really affectionate.

at first he had no idea why he wasn’t experiencing the whole sex-drive, horny girlsgirlsgirls stage that he knew tadashi did, but after some googling he was relieved when he found out he wasn’t alone.

kind of makes jokes about it

tells his friends how beautiful they are all the time. kisses baymax all the time. he’s a funny kid.
