i bet hiro has no idea when girls and/or guys are hitting on him

he’s at that awkward teenage stage where dating is somewhat coming into the agenda, and girls his age that come to the cafe openly flirt with him but he just hasn’t got a clue

and everyone thinks that since he’s so intelligent that he just politely turns them down but the truth his he really genuinely just misses the hints

“wanna go out sometime?” “oh, sorry i have assignments to catch up on, thanks for asking though!”

he’s just so oblivious and nobody suspects anything different

he has about 500 female friends and the majority of them started off trying to start a romantic relationship with him that he just didn’t follow up at all and ended up becoming really good friends with them instead

they all grew to love his awkward, dorky, nerdy self. loveable knucklehead

he builds a really intense relationship with karmi because he feels very strongly for her but completely platonically

at first she thinks he’s hitting on her, but then she learns that his behaviour is exhibited with all of his female friends and she just kind of smiles to herself knowingly

since hiros not too good with strangers anyway, it’s interesting to watch him subtly mingle his way out of dates and whatnot whenever he works part time at the cafe

his smarts really underestimate him sometimes

he loves his friends. loves hugs. loves expression how much they mean to him. he’s really affectionate.

at first he had no idea why he wasn’t experiencing the whole sex-drive, horny girlsgirlsgirls stage that he knew tadashi did, but after some googling he was relieved when he found out he wasn’t alone.

kind of makes jokes about it

tells his friends how beautiful they are all the time. kisses baymax all the time. he’s a funny kid.

-He was able to make the second contract for two reasons. One he was genetically altered when he was a kid just to see what would happen, and if something like Mahiru who had 3 weapons on her at one time, could be made again without loosing their sanity.

-And two his demon from his gun accepted this new contract. Otherwise it would never have happened. However, the demon only agreed as long as the more powerful one kept control, and the other became submissive. So that demon is locked down tight so Hiro can only use it's powers, not be taken over by it.

-Hiro was taken from the Ichinose house when he was six. A few months after he was brought to the Hiragi house that is when the experimentation started. He does not remember them of course. A lot of those experiments in the early days were to see how young someone had to be to get cursed gear, without real training. It would cut corners and make things easier.

-When they finally forced Hiro to hold his first piece of cursed gear was when he was almost seven. The gear was a hand gun from the black demon series. The only reason this weapon was chosen was due to who his parents were, if he survived it proved how strong he really was, even as a child. If he died, than Guren was informed the child was dead already.

-He almost died from the task. Takeshi-Ji-Go-Ku, noticed the biggest desire that the boy wanted was to go home, even if the child did not remember why he wanted to. In the end Takeshi-Ji-Go-Ku bonded with Hiro and became extremally protective of the child, and there were times when Kureto came to talk to Hiro Takeshi spoke instead.

-Later on when Hiro was in his later teens, he made another contract with a demon in a short sword, named San. Takeshi-Ji-Go-Ku didn't like this act, but he understood why it had to be done. So they said if Hiro was going to do this he was going to be in charge of the two demons. San rarely comes out, unlike Takeshi-Ji-Go-Ku, since Hiro uses his hand gun first.

-Even though Kureto was the one to show up and take Hiro away that night, the order came from Tenri Hiragi. The reasoning behind the abduction was a punishment to Guren, after all he had warned the Ichinose Leader many times not to think to highly of himself. And than to turn around in secret have a child with the adopted son he had bought for that very purpose with the help of one of Guren’s underlings showed he had not listened.

-The boy would also have a dual purpose. He was of Shinya and Guren’s blood, which meant he would be strong. If he could survive the experimentation they planned for him, than he would be a stand in for Shinya as a stud in Tenri’s eyes.

    Hiro uses very specific words when he is referring to Guren, Shinya, or Kureto. After all each is male, and every single one  had a hand in raising him, and shaping him into who he is now, even if a few of those years were not by Hiro’s choice.  So it is best to pay attention to what endearments he is using to describe who he is referring to.

      When he says Dad/Daddy (when he is young) he is referring to Shinya.

      When he says Papa he is referring to Guren.

      When he says Father he of course means Kureto.

    A fuda is a paper spell that is true. The mark on Hiro’s neck was created by such a spell, however the result was the spell being burned into his neck. It is a high level spell that was created when the experiments he was undergoing went wrong.

    He was about thirteen when it happened. They were trying to create a super solider, that had all the strengths of a vampire without actually being one. They had created a serum to help make  demon wielder and demon closer without loosing control. It had failed.

    The end result created a young Namanari that needed to be controlled, and his body became dependent on that flawed serum. They got what they wanted but a very high price, but it lead to what they have now.

    The spell helps regulate his system so that he does not loose control, when he over does it, it will glow red. It also cause his eyes to glow red if let untreated, and someone will see him grow weak when he need serum. Only one person know the counter spell to the one on his neck, and that person being Kureto. He was the one after all who put the mark on his neck.

  One of the reasons Hiro does not recall his life before six years old is due to the fact he had a memory wipe. When he was first brought to the Hiragi house he called Kureto his uncle, but after a few small wipes and spells to block out his past he started to become scared and confused at where he was. Kureto was the only one that was around him, so he assumed he was his father, so that is what he called him.

     The wipes were there to block out the worse experiments that they did to him. But the spells block out most of his childhood. And if he attempts to recall them he gets a migraine level headache until he stops attempting to recall. He had the condition since he was, (as far as he knew), little so he assumed it was a normal condition. However, it was put in place so he wouldn’t attempt to escape and go back to Guren or get Shinya’s attention if he ever came to the house and Hiro happened to hear him.

    The spell is still in place to this day. Which is why he finds it hard to believe Shinya when he says Kureto and the Hiragis are lying to him.
