"You tackled him, now its time for YOU to kill him." You grew more and more impatient, you knew how hard is the first time, yours was hard too.

"The next one will be easier, think about that."

"Just give me a minute..." With a thin voice, Arno stepped aside.

"You don't have a minute! A second and your enemy already stabbed you in the back. This novice would die anyway, his injuries are fatal. I shot him, the wound will be infected."

"I trained with him!" The young soon to be assassin grew frustrated, his breathing uneven and rapid.  "I helped him to get better."

"Then think about it. He pretended to be your friend, he used you for information. How does that make you feel?"

"Betrayed..." Arno admitted, still, he didn't move his wavering hand.

"Do it!"

"I can't (y/n)... I simply can't..."

"You are the weakest." It only took one swift movement, and your hidden blade flew into the novice's throat. "If you fear the chastity of your soul this much, don't be an assassin. Leave the brotherhood."

"I am your best student, surely..."

"You were my best. We, assassins strive for the perfect kill, we do not let anybody suffer. And now you let this boy suffer until I killed him. This is not our way."

Arno stared at the dead body, his body frozen.

"I am sorry." He muttered.

"Next time you kill in an instant, don't wait for me to catch up or if you do I'm going to be the one who stabs you in the back because that's what our enemies would do."
