“We started with one and now we have seven. You have no chill.” Kenny grunted, a guttural rumble following.

“But… But cats are so cute—and dogs!” Armin claimed with doe eyes, but finality in his voice.

Kenny couldn’t miss that statement of his younger lover—not when a puppy was climbing on his shoulder, trying to lick his face. Two others puppies were bouncing on his lap, four cats snuggled against Kenny’s feet and legs.

The way how Armin gave Kenny puppy eyes to beg him not to give any of these little sweet creatures away made the older man give in; a roll of his eyes was enough for Armin to get that he'd obtained his lover’s permission just now.

“Thank you, thank you, thank youuuuuu!!!” Armin hugged him, peppering his face with lots of velvet kisses.

“Kenny! Kenny, Kenny, Kenny! Yale accepted me!! I got accepted to study medicine in Yale!!!” Kenny was able to hear his boyfriend’s chants through three closed doors stretching between them, as Armin came home while Kenny was smoking on the balcony.

Taking a drag, he blew out the smoke slowly, swaying his head to the side to be met with a beaming face and glittering ocean eyes as Armin held up the letter that opened the biggest doors for the future that Armin could ever ask for.

“Accepted…” Armin almost teared up, biting his lips nervously, a relieved smile showing.

Kenny huffed, seeing his boyfriend this gleeful warmed his chest nicely from the inside, and he ruffled the blond hair. “I’m so fucking proud of you.” His voice was raspy but mellow.

Armin rarely got the chance to spot that soft side of Kenny, so that he couldn’t stop himself from enveloping his older lover in a crushing hug that made them both almost fall if it wasn’t for Kenny who got his balance last second.

omg anon don’t make me choooooose! XD These are two wonderful Armin ships and I couldn’t decide, so I wrote a ArminFar + ArminKenny drabble. It’s up to the reader to decide whether FarlanKenny (I ship that one too) is part of this drabble as well ^^

When Armin saw him lingering lazily on the couch, gaggling at some show on the television, he didn’t even bother asking why Kenny was still awake at an ungodly hour like 2 AM, as if almost expecting the other to argue with “Whadya mean? It’s just 2 in the morning! Not time to sleep yet!”, which was why he merely joined him on the sofa, occupying the other half of it.

“Couldn’t sleep.” was what Armin muttered gruffly under his breath, frowning and blowing his front locks away from his face.

Kenny acknowledged his words by grumbling something non-verbally and throwing an arm around Armin’s shoulder, bringing him to lie his head on his chest, and asserted, “Watch this with me, kid, it’ll bore you till you fall asleep.”

And Armin wanted to know from Kenny when he’d stop calling him a ‘kid’ because, after all, Kenny was dating said kid, but he couldn’t get that far, since Farlan swung his head inside from the living room’s door, blinking at Armin with half-sleepy eyes, lips pursed.

“I sent you five messages.”

“And I read only the first one.”

“The others are saying ‘Don’t take too fucking long’, ‘Where are you? I’m bored.’, ‘Give me distraction.’ and ‘Are you dense? What I’m saying is I want to suck your dick.’.”

“My retort was in no way an implied command for you to tell me what spoiled shit your ass had messaged me.”
