those little slices of domestic bliss they get during their visits. barb starting the coffee pot. melissa wrapping her arms around barbara’s waist as she puts her earrings back on. that kiss on the cheek when barb leaves. 

5. What’s the one personality trait that most attracts them to each other? What’s the one physical trait that most attracts them to each other?

personality traits: for melissa, it’s barbara’s assertiveness. how she commands a room. as for barbara, it’ the perfect balance of surly-compassion that melissa has perfected. 

physical trait: the first thing melissa noticed about barbara are her lips and how badly she wanted to kiss them. barb: have you seen her ass in those leather pants?!

8. What was the first thought that came to each other’s heads the first time they met?

i actually love the idea of them butting heads at first. but in no time they really see and understand each other. an undeniable connection between them, gravitating towards one another, until they’re finally drunkenly making out in an abandoned stairwell at a christmas party.
