He hadn’t been able to shower or changed clothes in so long. not to mention there are also no toilets in Tartarus or the jar. i guess he could go whenever he felt like it in Tartarus since there are no rules there but still no toilet paper and what about the jar. Trapped in an enclosed space like that for 9 days straight……..poor kid………)

Anyway I think he should have had an outfit change after he was rescued and freshly showered. It makes the most sense to me that he’d wear Leo’s dark green cargo pants (straight legged ones not the boot cup flared ones) and Percy’s black ramones tshirt. My explanation :

I’m thinking he’s just as skinny or almost as skinny as Leo but a few inches taller since Nico is average height for a teenage boy and Leo is absurdly short. So he’s probably the same size as Leo in pants. (Leo has to roll up all his pant legs and Nicos tall enough that he doesn’t) What kind of pants would Leo possibly own that all black wearing Nico would even consider wearing? Dark green cargo pants. Probably straight leg not like boot cut. Leo liked all the pockets to hold his tools and trinkets and junk and stuff. Straight leg so he can tuck them inside his boots he doesn’t like the extra useless fabric of boot cut flapping around his legs and tripping him up. (Nico feels the same). He has the same pants in several colors. Nico chooses the dark green ones simply cause theyre the darkest color pants on the Argo 2 that will fit him properly and wont be falling down and pulling them up all the time.

Nico took a good look through Leo’s closet. No black shirts and they all seemed a bit too short for him anyway. The only other person on the ship about his size was Piper and he was not about to go thrifting through a girls closet without her permission (Leo gave him permission) when he barely knows her and he doubts she would have anything he would consider wearing anyway.

Percy is gone. Tartarus. They offered him to sleep in Percy’s room cause there’s no other bedrooms. Even though he declined that he may be desperate enough to find a shirt to just look through Percy’s closet. He sneaks to his room hoping nobody sees him. Stares around Percy’s room for a moment but is too scared to touch anything. He feels like he’s wasting time and it’s only a matter of seconds before someone comes looking for him he’s paranoid. Gathers enough courage to open closet door and thrifts through clothes. Finds black Ramones shirt. Score. Something he’d actually wear (even though it’s a size or two a little big on him) He’s hoping he can find a new shirt of his own before Percy gets back and return it so he’ll never know. And he’s hoping nobody will recognize it’s Percy’s shirt or that nobody will say anything about it (they don’t thank the gods)

It doesn’t play out the way Nico hoped it would. Percy goes to thank Nico for his help with Bob while Nicos fiddling with ropes tied around the statue and he doesn’t know how to feel about Nico wearing his shirt.

Added Valdangelo bonus : Fast forward a few years later. Leo and Nico are constantly arguing over whose pants they are and always stealing it from each other. Nico knows that they were originally Leo’s he just loves gaslighting and rage baiting his boyfriend.

Also Will’s sibling dies by getting crushed and Percy blames himself for it.

I love most of the fic you recommend so I'm looking for a Nico di angelo centric fic on his time on the Argo 2 with the 7.
