Ardis - Shotgun 1994
Ardis is a Dominican-Swedish former pop singer. She released her debut album Love Addict in 1994. All songs on the album were written by Ardis, with the exception of a cover track. The album went gold shortly after its release and Ardis was nominated for a Grammis, the Swedish equivalent of the Grammy Awards. Her big break was "Shotgun", a song which was chosen as the theme on the soundtrack to the Swedish 1995 film Vendetta. "Shotgun" became Ardis' second hit single and her breakthrough in the charts. Ardis also provided the theme to the 1998 sequel film Hamilton (starring Peter Stormare and Mark Hamill) with the song "No Man's Land" (poll #88).
"Shotgun" received a total of 55,3% yes votes.
