I mean yeah she was hurt, but she was still responsible for her actions toward keith, which yes she owned up to but it was still generalizing galra as a whole. idk I think it was handled realistically and properly, and again I'd only say not racist bc of the galra being the oppressor race /shrug

i mean I still think its racism???? She has entirely valid reasons for thinking the way she assumes the moment this boy who had come to her castle with no knowledge of him before  was essentially evil because of blood he wasn't even aware he had until this moment. I can only see arguing its not racism because of Galra being the dominant race and racism involving systematic oppression but still????

also like people can be racist and grow out of it. just because she learned better doesn't mean she wasn't BEING racist by assuming that just because Keith was Galra that he was automatically evil. I think it was a very intentional metaphor in the same way ATLA used to slip these things in 

I just can’t see it as racism. Yeah he didn’t know, yeah she knew he didn’t know. But it doesn’t matter when you’re hurt. Sense doesn’t make sense. You react without thinking. I don’t even think she thought he was inherently evil, I think she was just mad. I honestly don’t think that she suddenly hated Keith’s core simply cause he was Galra, I don’t think it was a race thing. 

Now as for the creators using it as a metaphor, totally see that tbh. But I also think they poorly executed it in this instance.

You’re not bothersome, but trust me i understand the feel of feeling awful but hating burdening people. I still feel annoying all the time. I know for me, you are not bothering me, I’m just glad you trust me and i just want to help anyway i can ;w;
