Aang is still the Avatar, but the world is a lot more peaceful.

Aang goes to school with all the other characters, and takes literally every class.
He knows everyone and is Very Nice.
Appa's their pet dog, Momo is still a flying lemur.
They also have a van, an vintage Yangchen '87. It's Gyatso's, he bought it from a junkyard sale for 35 bucks and repaired it when he heard Aang was going to be born.
Aang would take the airbender course, but the school doesn't actually have an airbender teacher, so instead he spends those periods practicing alone, sometimes dragging in Katara or Ty Lee to help him practice.
Katara's in the waterbender course with Pakku, they hate each other.
Pakku doesn't have much reason to accept Katara's challenge, and Waterbending Kais aren't a thing.
Katara takes AP Civics with Yue, this actually being how Yue and sokka met.
Yue dies of a hit-and-run. To be specific, she's severely injured and dies instal.
Suki and Yue are good friends ever since Suki yeeted Yue's horrible boyfriend
Sokka's in swordfighting, Engineering with Teo, and art class.
Hakoda is very epic and actually teaches gym class as a substitute.
Azula is a prodigy. This is very important for who Zuko is.
Zuko overworks himself to exhaustion here. He spends his entire life trying to equal Azula and actually suffers because of it, making him think he has to work even harder.
Ursa died in childbirth, so now Zuko is blamed for that as well.
Azula is the older one here.
Zuko's antisocial, grumpy, and terrible at everything despite working ten times as hard as everyone else.
Azula just makes it worse. She does everything effortlessly and decides to spend her free time fucking with Zuko.
He developed an entirely new firebending technique to dry himself off because it was quicker than removing the water bucket every day.
For Ty Lee's first few appearances, it's actually her sisters.
Azula, Mai, and Zuko can tell Ty Lee apart from the rest, but Aang is the only one to distinguish every one of the Ty family.
Originally not enrolled in the school before Earth Rumble Seven.
What more must be said about Toph?
She has a cane, pretty sure it's just for smacking people.
