Working on a third life au fic rn and it is so fun. I definitely am not avoiding it.

I'm happy with what I've written so far, but I intentionally planned the plot of the second half to challenge me as a writer so I could get more experience writing romance plots, and, completely unexpectedly, it is challenging me!!

I'm currently torn between 1) complicating the plot by adding more characters + establishing the familial lore and 2) keeping it as straightforward as possible so I don't burn out

I'm also struggling with this one scene and instead of locking in I decided to watch 50 First Dates. It kinda helped. But now I know I gotta lock in.
