SHIFTERS WHO USE LUCID DREAM OR ARE INTERESTED IN IT NEED TO READ THIS!
I found out how my lucid dream cycles/pattern were working and I literally managed to use them into my advantage.
My shifting journey was never successful to my point of view. I never had any shifts nor mini shifts. Not a single time. Even though I was a shifter since many years, 3 years to be exact. At one point my attention slowly drifted to other experiences to be able to shift (honestly what’s better to shift without using shifting directly). So then came Lucid Dream. I had one experience as a child, but that’s all, I didn’t really know anything special about it. I then started to try having one and would use methods for this. I was following this sort of "shifting path" in how I wanted to have my lucid dreams. So I tried methods. Always. Just like with shifting. I would blindly follow them, listening to what people said you should absolutely do to have one. Nothing happened, I decided to not try again for a year and then when I stared being interested in it again, I finally had one. And after, time passed and I just got better at it.
During the summer of 2025, my "lucid dream journey" has started to become really interesting. I would do daily reality tests and started having a dream journal. I wanted to keep a trace of my dreams. And a little bit more than a month after, I had an experience I could never imagine before that completely changed me. I had four lucid dreams in a row, in one and single night. I woke up 4 times from my lucid dream and decided 4 times to go back to my lucid dream. This lucid dream consisted of me trying to find a place to do a portail but kept failing because of many reasons. It made me have every single week of September a lucid dream. I never ever had this many lucid dreams in a row. But it was maybe to incredible to stay this way. But then at the end of the month, the last week of September. I had a lucid dream. But since I was in my house, I told myself I wasn’t in a dream. Just because I was in a very familiar environment where nothing weird was happening (🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️). It took me 3 months to have another lucid dream, I was really sad that nothing was happening during those 3 months, I thought I would have to do my whole "lucid dream journey" again to have another one.
Since that moment, I just kept having lucid dreams here and there. But here it comes, recently, a month ago. I looked for studies on lucid dreams, I find one on Google. I’ve read all of it but wasn’t satisfied because I knew everything that was talked about. I wanted to discover new things. So then I click on the video fonction and I’m able to see videos similar to my research. One caught my eyes and I decide to watch it. It was this sort of event with two scientists and a presenter talking about lucid dreams. At one point, they talk about how to start having them, and one of them start talking about journaling your dreams. And the person just keep really insisting on it. Naturally, my mind translate it to how journaling is important. And then out of nowhere I realized something.
Every time I start journaling my dreams, a little bit more than a month after, I AUTOMATICALLY have a lucid dream. And in my head, I remember clearly around when I started writing and having my lucid dreams, so all the cycles were really clears in my head. I would follow this pattern without realizing, I would start journaling, have my lucid dreams a month after and then immediately (without even realizing it) stoped writing down in my journal. So if you now understand, my next lucid dreams will happen after a re start journaling.
Here’s how it worked for me:
first cycle —
10 July: started journaling my dreams
54 days passing
2 September: had my lucid dream
-78 DAYS AFTER-
second cycle —
16 November: started journaling my dreams
37 days passing
23 December : had my lucid dream
-48 DAYS AFTER-
third cycle —
9 February: started journaling my dreams
35 days passing
17 March: had my lucid dream
-7 DAYS AFTER-
current cycle —
24 March: started journaling my dreams
37 days passing
30 April: had my lucid dream
After understanding how my cycles were working, I decided to not wait, like I was going to do and I started journaling. Because the earlier I started journaling, the earlier I would have a lucid dream.
I hope it’s more understandable like this and that you can actually visualize it, just like me. This show how important journaling is. I always used to journal my dreams just like that, I never knew how important that was. How it literally made me have lucid dreams. From all I said, you need to comprehend how journaling is really way more important that you think. Does it mean you’ll automatically have the same journey as me ? Absolutely not. But does it mean you should not neglect journal ? Yes.
Coming to something I said at the start of my post, when I had this special lucid dream where I thought I wasn’t in a dream, and after, made me have no lucid dreams for 3 months literally just after my peak. It wasn’t because of the dream itself, it’s because I didn’t started earlier journaling my dreams.
I know some people worry about writing down their dreams because they don’t always remember them. But that’s how journaling is perfect for you. It’s a sort of chain, you try to remember your dreams, you write them down, the memory of you dreams get better, you’re getting more aware of your dreams, you’re spotting and analyzing them to finally having more chances to get a lucid dream. It’s really beneficial. Even if you remember one thing, a flash-back, a feeling, anything, you write it down. Even if you think it’s useless. It’s not something to worry about, you are training your brain to remember your dreams better, and with time you’ll get obviously better.
And that’s all for this post, I really hope it can help people and get more attention on lucid dreams. Thanks !
I talked a lot at the start… Just hope I didn’t said anything not necessary, a context needed to be shared before explaining the whole thing.
Nobody will never know how much shifting changed my life
This girl on tiktok saying that “shifting is genetic, so not everyone can shift” pisses me off. You literally have no idea what you’re talking about.
And also her saying things like: “permashifting doesn’t exist, every shifter in 2020 was lying and you can’t script away body hair.” (What the fuck are you even talking about??)
