i'm surprised some anti-pro shippers use ao3 honestly considering at the heart of it all it was created for "proshippers"
ao3 was created because people shunned wincest shippers so much that they created their own website so people can post without discrimination. post anything without discrimination.
doesn't that go against like everything anti-proshippers and anti-darkshippers stand for? i see so many of y'all use ao3 but it's just confusing because the whole purpose of it is to allow people to express their proshipping and darkshipping in a safe space. if you're against that stuff why interact with a platform that actively encourages it and even was created to encourage it? doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me tbh
