as someone wholly outside of the gender binary, we are sick and tired of watching the trans community tear itself to shreds in so many ways while ignoring what is arguably the most vulnerable group of trans people we have: nonbinary folk.
inspired by blogs such as @thisisexorsexism, @this-is-intersexism, @whataboutenby and @nonbinarynow. i want to share my perspective as someone who is angry and tired of dealing with exorsexism on the day to day, including in online spaces that are meant to be safe for trans people.
there is also a lot of intersexism in the trans community and that is important to us, however as someone who is not intersex, we do not want to be the voice on their issues. we will reblog posts from about intersexism however, and if we make posts about intersexism ourself we will remember to specify that we are not speaking as intersex individuals and that we value imput from those who are actually intersex.
we also believe strongly in youth liberation so if you believe in "mdni" or shielding kids from gender or sexual topics whatsoever, we have no interest in you.

Fellow reminder that nonbinary folks are trans. It's not "trans and nonbinary people" --- thanks for showing that you view us as an afterthought, by the way. We are trans just by being nonbinary.
Nonbinary is also not a halfway point or a transitioning period, it's not inherently a period of exploration, nonbinary genders are their own full, whole genders, just like being a binary girl/woman or binary boy/man.
If you're talking about trans people, you're talking about ALL trans people. Not just binary ones.
If you're talking about men/boys and women/girls, specified trans or otherwise, you are still talking about nonbinary people. There are nonbinary guys and gals in a plethora of ways, and being a guy or gal doesn't make them any less nonbinary.
Think about us when you speak. Do not add "obviously this isn't about nonbinary people" when you are called out for being exorsexist. If you're not talking about nonbinary folks, you can just say that ("binary people" "binary folks" "binary gals/guys" etc). It is not that hard.
