ANTHRAX‼️‼️‼️‼️
guys i’m gonna put this on a shirt and wear it when i present my NHD project 💀
Honestly, watching that Netflix show about the anthrax attacks in 2001 is wild. It’s like watching a conspiracy theory being acted out
Sins of our Mother - absolutely horrifying story, nobody should ever die in the name of religion, especially your own children!!
Grand Tour: A Skandi Flick - possibly the best one they’ve done so far. How much destruction will countries tolerate before they start banning these guys. Highly recommend.
Cobra Kai - I was worried it was going to be a stale one season 5 but it isn’t! It just keeps smashing it.
End of the Road - Queen Latifah and Ludacris are phenomenal in this, very good and intense film from start to end.
The Anthrax Attacks - honestly it’s one of those things I knew about at the time but didn’t know a lot about it, I was shocked with who it looks like was behind it and I just wish we all knew why.
Farzar - been putting it off for a while, no idea why because I loved Paradise PD and it’s in space, I’m a slut for space. It’s good, you don’t really have to follow it along to enjoy it, it’s just funny.

The way that people think about [nuclear weapons] is on a much, much grander scale than biological weapons, and I think that's a misperception
Summary
Everyone should know about the bacteria that was made famous to the public due to the Anthrax Attacks back in 2001, Anthrax. There has been debate about how bio-terrorism may potentially cause more casualties than nuclear weapons. Anthrax has so much capability to be mass-produced due to its spores, which remain viable for a long time. The only way to prevent a massive outbreak is to vaccinate a country’s citizens. However, that might not be feasible due to the vast amount of people and because of individuals’ beliefs against vaccinations. The question is, how ready is a country prepared for a potential Anthrax Attack? Even developed countries such as the United States weren’t as prepared 17 years ago during the incident. We might be in a much better place than we were in 2001, but will we be able to face an act of bio-terrorism?

CD105: Anthrax
In July, the House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would allow expiring anthrax vaccines to be given to civilian emergency responders within the United States. The question: Is that vaccine safe? In this episode, we look at the history of the anthrax vaccine and the results of the investigation into the only anthrax attack on the United States: The anthrax laced letters which…

The 2001 anthrax attacks in the United States, also known as Amerithrax from its Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) case name, occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on Tuesday, September 18, 2001, one week after the September 11 attacks. Letters containing anthrax spores, deadly upon human contact without immediate treatment, were mailed to several news media offices and two Democratic U.S. Senators, killing five people and infecting 17 others. According to the FBI, the ensuing investigation became "one of the largest and most complex in the history of law enforcement".
These attacks, along with the events of 9/11 a week earlier, contributed to the growing paranoia of the American public that manifested itself into the early-2000s.
