Anthony Mathis

Codename: Umbra (Based on Raven)

Anthony is the product of his human mother Sylvia from Azarath and the demon lord Trigon, who impregnated her without her consent. Anthony grew up hidden away in England living with her and his stepfather Bradley (who he sees as his real dad).

Because getting too emotional would summon Trigon, Anthony was forced to be reserved at all times. This lead to him being ostracized from others as a youth. He began as a hero by saving his parents from a mugger, getting his magic under control for the first time.

Whereas most kids from England thought he was aloof and cold, his friends at DC have found that's he's just a bit snarky and in reality is more of a kindhearted yet very socially awkward boy who would rather read than get into any sort of fight. For his part, Umbra tries his best to be sweet to both fellow Teen Titans and other heroes, but will be blunt if he admits he doesn't care about what they are doing.

He used to rely solely on magic, but Rogue (Zoe) and the other titans have gotten a reluctant Umbra to start exercising and sparring, even if he's kinda rubbish at it. He even teared up when Lacey and Victoria gave him a referee cloak for their stinkball game. (Anthony wears his cloak because he thinks it makes him look cool and because it's like a permanent weighted blanket.)

Has a surprising friendship with Hex, even though they fight since she's part of the Fiendish Five. This is because Eri secretly wants to be more of a hero, and Anthony and Simon are the ones who are slowly coaxing her to the side of good.

He's also deeply in love with his evil boyfriend MalevoLyrcist, who often serenades the goth with spooky songs. The two find that they give the other a lot of comfort and show their softer sides to eachother.

Juleka and Anthony met at six when his family moved to Paris from England, and they met Eri a year later when her family moved from Japan. They all became fast friends and have been close ever since

The three of them love to do each other’s makeup and nails. They frequently have get-togethers at each other’s houses to try out new looks

They’re all horror enthusiasts and have watch parties every two weeks on the Liberty. It’s nearly impossible to scare all three of them

Anthony has gotten both girls hooked on tea and they regularly meet up at this little gothic tea house downtown to talk and just hang out

Anthony and Juleka are often in charge of reining Eri in when she starts to go a little overboard with the dramatics. She appreciates them for it, even if she doesn’t say this

They are each other’s biggest shippers for Juleka’s and Anthony’s respective relationships. The girls were there for Anthony even through the most awkward stages of his relationship with Jesse

They share their collective dislike of sunlight, and on group outings that involve them being outdoors, you can usually find them all huddled either under a tree or Eri’s parasol

They often communicate with each other through what the others call “Goth Speak”, which basically just consists of a normal conversation carried out through needlessly morbid and ominous language

They’re very protective of one another, especially when it comes to the creeps who perv on goths. They’ve all kicked someone in the balls for one of the others

Anthony - Randall Boggs

Anthony is a chameleon monster who's job and passion is scaring people, and has recently been constructing a machine called the Scream Extractor, which does exactly what it sounds like. It extracts screams from children.

He's a lot more patient than most of the villains, content with biding his time for his plans to succeed. He's also got time to snark at the others and taunt them while blending in with the shadows.

Anthony is VERY protective of his boyfriend Jesse, and has ordered the rest of the group to not mess with him.

Because of Ivan's past with the eel, Anthony has a serious rivalry with him, loving to mess with the boogieman at every opportunity for revenge. He's pretty slippery and has avoided Ivan's attempts to throttle him.

He's besties with Eri, frequently helping out the queen of darkness with her schemes.

The Vampire

Cast

Juleka Constantin as Countess Errina: A Transylvanian noblewoman who happens to be a vampire. She's harmless and non-malicious, even though she lives in a creepy castle, and occasionally drinks the blood of the village animals... and loves scaring the townsfolk for a chuckle. She's grown bored of Transylvania and is sick of getting blamed for every little thing that's gone wrong in their town. She decides to move to England and does so with the help of a seemingly friendly if desperate solicitor. When finding out said solicitor had a deadly disease, she decided to turn her into a vampire. She figured she'd finally have a friend/servant to deal with her problems. Just her luck that her guest would turn out to be a ungrateful little mortal who'd go around the village and later England, ruining her reputation! It hurt because the Countess felt she had met some wonderful folks from an opera house in London, some proper people unlike those peons in Transylvania. Even better, they had followed her all the way to her new castle in the country! Yes, she'd have to scare the daylights out of them, show herself as a creature of the night, but she didn't think they'd look so beaten up! Imagine how it felt when she discovered that not only was one of them turning into a vampire, but that a certain solicitor turned bloodsucking monster had also broken into her castle and had been attacking them! Well that wouldn't do. To prove her innocence, she quickly put Reiner out of her misery, allowing the turned member of their party to go back to normal. Errina would learn soon after not to bother giving humans the time of day.

Rochelle Weams as R.M. Reiner (character is female): Reiner is a solicitor, a rarity for someone of her gender. It didn't take long for her to realize her client was a creature of the night, but that wasn't going to let that stop her from getting a contract signed! Besides, she was on death's doorstep, anyway, having been diagnosed with tuberculosis. While she had initially revealed the disease in hopes to manipulate the Countess into putting her name out there in the financial world, Reiner ended up becoming a vampire that night. Soon enough, she cared little for financial gain anymore, all she wanted was blood! Drunk with power, she slunk off into the night, biting people willy nilly as she made her way back to England. Who cared if that countess was after her? She'd just use the Romanian as a scapegoat and get off scot free. Little did she know that some of the humans the Countess had met with with were friends with a vampire hunter! Despite all her tactics of making Errina look like the bad guy, she was eventually caught. The fight didn't last long.

Olga Mendeliev as Abigail Von Hindenburg: An old yet wisened vampire hunter and doctor, Abigail was old friends with Lubna's father and has taken to checking in on the woman to make sure she's doing well. While she first seems like a friendly if absent-minded goof, her expression turns stonefaced when dealing with creatures of the night. When Lubna and her friends told Abigail about the mysterious noblewoman they met with a compelling voice who drank red liquid, she immediately clocked it as being Errina, a vampire she had frequent experiences with in the past. Not necessarily battles mind you, moreso the Countess scaring the daylights out of villagers to get Hindenburg's attention so she could easily dodge her stakes and garlic. Abigail was determined to kill Errina once and for all for seemingly turning the girl who was like a niece to her. She managed to save Lubna, Jim & Minnie's lives with her trust cross from Reiner, who Abigail quickly realized was the real culprit. Errina may be innocent, but the old hunter's got her eyes on the countess. 

Anthony Mathis as Jim Hawke, Dot Waverly as Minnie Stewart and Reshma Leghari as Lubna Wadwhani: While Jim and Minnie used to be married, they amicably separated and are in the process of a divorce. Partly because Jim had only married the woman to conceal his feelings for men. Still, they care about eachother deeply and see eachother as the best of friends. They are also mutual friends with Lubna, Minnie's old roommate. They were attending an opera in the theater when they came into contact with Countess Errina. Feeling the strangest urges, they decided to invite her over to dinner, having a lovely if sometimes creepy conversation. Sure it was odd that she had to be invited in and asked if there was any garlic, but who were they to be rude to a guest. Still it would end up biting them in the ass when Reiner crawled into Lubna's room at night and bit her. While she's a lot more modest and docile than Minnie, she still managed to put up somewhat of a fight. Still, it freaked her friends out when she began talking about how she loved the night and fog, and how her teeth began to get sharper. With the help of Abigail, they tracked Errina down to her castle, survived her innocent scares while Lubna fought it out with Reiner. While they are keen to avoid Errina even after she proved her innocence, they are grateful for her curing Lubna.

2. Anthony

It took both of these two quite a long time to open up and admit their feelings for one another. Anthony was quite certain Jesse still had feelings for Mylene and would never feel the same way about him, while Jesse struggled to come to grips with his bisexuality, largely due to his father. They danced around each other for so long, their friends almost gave up hope

It finally ended up being Anthony who confessed his feelings first. Jesse was working himself into a frenzy about a project he was working on, spiraling big time. After Anthony managed to calm him down, Jesse said that he didn’t know why the goth boy “wasted time” on him, prompting Anthony to tell the shy boy how highly he thought of him. Jesse ended up kissing him and the rest is history

Anthony tends to be extremely protective over his boyfriend, and doesn’t tolerate anyone harassing or messing with him for a second. He once punched an upperclassman in the face for giving Jesse a hard time about his father

They encourage each other to get out of their comfort zones, in different ways. Anthony motivates Jesse to have confidence in himself and his capabilities, to volunteer for a position he knows he can do well, and to take charge of productions. Jesse, on the other hand, helps Anthony to be more open to people, to show that he cares and to talk about what he’s feeling

Jesse is one of the few people with the ability to get a genuine smile out of Anthony. He doesn’t even have to try really, usually it’s just him walking into the room

Jesse simps big time over Anthony’s accent, he just really loves to hear his boyfriend talk

Most of their dates are to quiet tea houses and cafes, places where they just sit and talk, no big hassle and just able to enjoy one another’s company

Anthony loves their height difference. He’ll rest his head on top of Jesse’s and hug him from behind, or just pick him up to carry him whenever he feels like it

Jesse sometimes lets Anthony do his makeup, and when I tell you this boy looks amazing with dark eyeliner

Anthony will only wear anything that isn’t black if Jesse is the one that gave it to him. (Well…also Margo, but no one can say no to her)

Anthony knows several methods for bringing Jesse down from a panic attack, and will always be the first one by his boyfriend’s side when he starts to feel unsteady

Anthony - Sally

While Anthony was born in DreamTown, the realm of the Sandman, he grew up in Halloween Town due to being abducted at a young age by the wicked Dr Finklestein. He was finally reunited with his real parents shortly before he started attending Francoise Prep.

Thankfully, the doctor wasn't able to completely hide Anthony from the rest of Halloweentown. The young ragdoll managed to attract the attention of the Halloween Queen Sasami and King Hiroshi, and espeically their children Ryuji and Eri.

Eri and Anthony grew up getting into all sorts of trouble together and their friendship has stayed just as strong since they came to Francoise. They both love to scare the pants off people and he keeps her from indulging in her more chaotic whims.

The boy naturally loves to snark as much as he loves to pine over his sweet princely boyfriend Jesse. This makes him a perfect fit for the goth squad at Francoise. He's also teaching Jesse how to scare, just in case.

It took a little bit for Anthony to warm up to everyone at the school. Initially he kept to the gothic kids, only showing much compassion to those who were very shy and/or sweet. With the more extroverted and brashers kids, he was more apt to scare them away than engage in conversation. In time he opened up and showed the sweet and curious doll within.

2. Mylene/ Ivan

They go on double dates at least once a month, usually more. They share their preference for keeping things lowkey, like seeing plays in small, independent theaters, volunteering at local nonprofit organizations, or just going out to get something to eat. They always have a good time together (Jean and Austin T will join them often as well)

When Anthony started dating Jesse, he not only got the terrifying shovel talk from Mylene, but from Ivan as well. It was subtle, slipped into a conversation, but the clear implication was there that if he hurt Jesse, he would be hurt twice that

Anthony has gotten all three of them hooked on tea, vastly preferring it over coffee now. They have their preferences but they’ll always try something new that he recommends to them

Anthony and Ivan are their significant others’ biggest supporters when it comes to their theater pursuits. Whether it be Mylene in a starring role or Jesse putting on and producing an amazing show, they’ll always be there cheering them on

When it was clear that Jesse was still having a lot of trouble coping with the whole situation with his father, it was his boyfriend and two friends (along with his mother, of course) that encouraged him to start seeing a therapist. He’s gotten a lot better at managing his anxiety since then

Ayesha the Lion - She's one lighthearted lion. Ayesha is possibly the only one who can outhappy Rose, and you can often find her gleefully roaring about something or other. Ayesha's always on the prowl, looking for ways to cheer people up. She loves cartoons and watches them with Nathaniel and Petra, even if she doesn't do a good job in drawing them. Whenever she gets down, a good pounce will often put her back into happy spirits.

Dot the Groundhog - Dot loves organizing her burrow along with other trinkets her friends find. Her and Sabrina often sniff the air for the smell of new treats. They also collaborate on maintaining track of projects by the other animals. Dot checks for her shadow every day.

Petra the Woodpecker - Petra's one passion in life is pecking. She drills tiny holes into trees to make drawings, and spends hours on each one making sure it's perfect in their eyes. Woody Woodpecker is their favorite cartoon to watch, and they prefer making art with Nathaniel and Ayesha.

Roxie the Rhino - A hot-tempered Rhino who will always debate their farm friends on any subject. Roxie loves charging, grazing and rolling around in the mud. They act as a bodyguard for their smaller friends and can always sniff out trouble. They can't stand untruths, so they usually keep their distance from Lila.

Anthony the Bat - During the day, he can be rather snarky, but at night is when he truly feels alive. He likes flying around the farm with Eri, using his echolocation to find the location of prey. He and the other gothic animals usually listen to records and brood together. He's very affectionate to his mate, Jesse, often snuggling up in his wool.

Eri the Raven - The Avian Queen of Darkness, and one dramatic raven. Eri's known for her loud caw, her theatricality and appreciation for all things macabre. For this bird, every day is Halloween, and she's always up for a scare. Her mom went viral for cawing Shakespeare and she wants to be an animal actor to follow in her footsteps. Eri loves carrying sticks in her beak and flying around with Anthony.

Candace the Gazelle - Candace is the "mom" of her farm, always making sure that everyone's behaving themselves. She's the leader of a cheer squad, with her, Staci and Margo making noises of encouragement for the other animals. Candace likes grazing and sprinting to remove excess energy.

Staci the Red Panda - The most acrobatic member of the cheerleading trio, Staci likes to swing and climb from branch to branch, munching on bamboo. Don't let the cute and cuddly appearance fool you, she's one of the snarkiest critters in the farm. She'll show her love on the inside, rather than the outside.

Margo the Polar Bear - This cheerful chilly bear is the muscle of the cheer squad, lifting up the other animals. She likes to lumber around, holding knicknacks and climbing on furniture and hunt for a nice fish. Serving as a matchmaker along with Rose, she lets out happy chuffs if she sees mates together. She also loves to cuddle with Lacey and Reshma.

Brecken the Bull - This bull's a country animal at the end of the day. His family originated from Texas, so he's got a big stature and a big heart. A sweet and earnest cow, he loves a good charging as well as nudging his friends and his nightingale mate. His moo will always brighten up your day.

Soo-Yeon the Giraffe - Soo-Yeon has heard all the tall jokes in the book due to being such a large creature. He can be clumsy, tripping over his long legs, but he's always got friends to catch his fall. Soo-Yeon has a fun game where he'll nudge a basketball with Victoria and Adrien. As the "dad" of his farm, he keeps everybody on track.

Parker the Wolf - Even if her friends aren't wolves like her, Parker sees them as members of her pack. She's all about maintaining order and rules, which means she'll often bark at any troublemakers before they cause a scene. She also has a soft side, always trying to motivate the others and keep them from harm. Parker bonds especially with Sabrina and they often howl together at the moon.

Aggie the Alligator - This short Scottish snarker loves basking in the sun and hissing at her friends. She's got gremlin energy and is relatively small for an alligator her age. Aggie loves skateboards and keeps trying to become one herself.

Mona the Sloth - She may be slow, but she isn't slow-witted. Mona is an easy going sloth who prefers it if everyone would just mellow out. She loves napping, almost as much as she loves movies. Mona will often hang on a tree, watching a flick through the window of the house next to the farm.

Evie the Nightingale - A prim and proper bird, Evie's always got a tune to belt out. She is from a long line of famous singingbirds used in circus attractions and has gone viral for her tweets and chirps. She can be a bit of a perfectionist, and stubborn, but knows when to fold 'em if her friends or mate are in trouble.

Eloise the Armadillo - Eloise is a very brainy animal, loving a good math problem, even if she's unable to write out the solution due to her tiny claws. Eloise can always be counted on as a voice of reason, when she's not too busy using her tongue to eat termites and grubs. She does need help making her way around certain areas of the farm due to her poor eyesight.

Anais the Owl - They may always be hooting and pecking, but that's because they're always looking for new scientific discoveries. It and Eloise are the best of pals, always looking to test their intellect. Her favorite thing to do is conduct experiments, even if they are simple by human standards.

Jesse the Ram - Jesse is a bit sheepish, sort of neurotic, but one of the nicest animals around. He likes to graze quietly, so that he can have some energy when he helps manages little productions the animals put on. He's prone to bleating and having little panic attacks, but some deep breaths and a kiss from his mate Anthony will usually calm him down.

Missy the Shark - Don't let the sharp teeth fool you, Missy is a loyal yet gruff friend. She's very protective of Jesse and Ondine. Her and Kim have had a friendly rivalry since they were babies. She does like to rise from the water on occassion to give visitors a fright.

Ondine the Heron - A sweet swimmer, Ondine loves the water as much as she loves taking flight. Kim is her mate, and she loves nuzzling the monkey with her long beak. Though she can be a bit of a klutz when on land, she's working hard to always be there for her farmyard friends.
