i was supposed to write a fic about this but it never came to be/wasn't completed LOL but anyway! here's the fic this ask is referring to!

yes! i can imagine (also bc i saw somewhere that aibo is apparently a slang for dick in japanese 😭 kashaudiajsdaj imagine my laughter when i found out about that .)

also... imagine zanka tells their baby stories about/revolving around lovely assistaff before bed to make them sleep, so over time, the baby picks the word up and 'aibo' becomes their first word !

wifey would be #pissed but just half or at least, jokingly. would probably find it funny as well because what the fuck LMAO that child is truly their father's child .

he strikes me as the type to be veryyy hesitant about trying something new (especially physical activities) because he hates underperforming/being humble about it. like if he doesn't get it right the first time he's never doing it again ... but through his s/o and gentle encouragement he learns to let loose and keep trying again and again until he gets it right

(i really feel like zanka taking up a sport or something entirely out of his realm of knowledge would help with his "not being good enough" complex ngl BUT ☝️ with added support from his partner or even a mentor figure)

of course, as THEE overachiever, zanka would always want to be good at everything he does, no matter how noob he is at that thing.

and as someone who thinks to have the same personality as zanka, yes i agree with this headcanon wholeheartedly. it's very hard to continue doing something/trying out a new thing without immediately being good at it. because i feel like zanka (me/i) is the type of person who wants to see IMMEDIATE progress in what he does. and if he doesn't see that improvement, he'd rather stop cause he might deem it as "futile" anyway because it will "never be good enough" so why bother

but yes! with enough encouragement and a good support system, zanka would def continue and find out/realize that it TAKES TIME for things to be good, that things happen in its own time and way, and that you have to be patient for good results

Bonus: he gets partnered up with a newbie that, while they avoid cats at all cost (move out the way when one pass by, won’t pick them up, won’t pay attention to them, etc) because they cannot say no to animals whats so ever, are cats magnets to the point where they jog after them, scream to get picked up and, when everything fails, climb up their clothes to rub its face against their (which hurts). While it is really funny at first, Zanka is NOT envious. Not at all.

zanka as a cat person sounds so right you are so true anon, that aint a headcanon, thats canon now to me (100%). cats moving away from desperate people wanting to pet them is so accurate too like... genuinely, why are some of them like that lmfao 😹 i love cats so much, theyre so funny and sassy. cats + zanka = PERFECTION

The problem is that they are NOT a medical practitioner, thats something he ASSUMED when he found out they were an intern. It didn’t come to mind to him that they could be, I dont know, interning for laboratory analyst or as a chemist. The worst part is that they do know how to do bandages and simple stitches for minor injuries, which makes the whole situation last longer and reinforce the idea of "they know what they're doing, its their work" until the day they are forming a team for a mission that will be rough but they dont have any healer type supporter on deck at the moment so he bring up how so and so could dont have any the job and it finally come out.

He's so confused, because what no- but then after awhile it hits him how WILD the whole situation he created is and is just so godamn embarassed, because it was so OBVIOUS-

of course, zanka is too caught up with the fact that he likes someone—his mind becomes cloudy and preoccupied with that, so he becomes ignorant of that special someone's actual line of work 😂 he just wanna hang out badddd, he didn't care (or forgot to) about the details at all !!!

Zanka who admire someone alot and really inspire to be at the same level they are and said someone is known to not have their emotions on their sleeves and is usually stoic.

Immediately change his mind the day he get to see them giggle at something he said, because, my god, he gets the epiphany that being nonchalant can’t be that cool if giggling sound so much better.
